The Eastern Gangdese metallogenic belt is one of the most important copper resources in China, the huge porphyry mineralization system formed in different extensional tectonic settings ranged from Mesozoic Yarlung Zangbo Neo-Tethys ocean northward subduction to Eurasia plate and Cenozoic India-Asia continental collision. The belt is a huge potential metallogenic resource, because there are favorable geological conditions, including complexed faults and strong folds, complete strata, mediaum and felsic magamtism in this area. The geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing information can be coincided each other.Besides, the large copper-polymetallic deposits such as the famous Qulong,Jiama,Bangpu etc.have been found in this region, they have very significant contribution for the national resources strategic reserve.Jiama deposit is a typical large porphyry-skarn copper-polymetallic deposit in the eastern Gangdese belt.with a high degree of exploration and extensive research. In this paper,we use metallogenic series theory as the guidance, create different deposit models based on integrated geological prediction technology information as the basical mathods, which is recommended by the national mineral resource potential evaluation projects, take the Jiama type porphyry-skarn copper polymetallic ore minerals as research objects, carry out the resource prediction of the same type polymetallic ore deposits in adjacent and similar areas, provide a good example to prospect similar deposits in the eastern Gangdese metallogenic belt. This study will be a significance of alleviation the national copper resources crisis and Tibetan mining economic development. This thesis collects and analyzes the abundant of geology, geophysics, geochemistry, remote sense, geographic materials and research, and other basic ore deposit information in the eastern Gangdese metallogenic belt, summarizes and refines the tectonic evolution, magmatism, metamorphism, tectonic signature, physical and chemical and remote sensing characteristics, mineral distribution and prospecting clues in this areas, construct a geological and mineral resources database, forecast positioning and quantitative predictions as the Jiama type porphyryskarn copper polymetallic ore deposit. Moreover,Regional prediction assessment model of the Jiama type of porphyry-skarn copper polymetallic deposits has been established. On this basement, total 55 prospective areas are delineated, including 10 of class A,21 of class B,24 of class C.Ore deposit geology model and volume method was used to estimate the resource of this type copper deposit of the study area.In conclusion, based on the typical deposits in the Eastern Gangdese metallogenic belt in the study used by three-dimensional geological modeling and computer visualization technology,we build the Jiama type three-dimensional digital model, utilize the large scale 3D geological modeling results, and apply to the ore deposit geology model volume method to estimate the process of resource. We improve the parameter estimation method in the modeling area, make an exploratory attempt to establish comprehensive prospecting both shallow and deep exploration, and expand the regional mineral prediction in other related fields.
