This paper firstly analyzes and demonstrates the applicability of Network Research Methods to coal mine disasters and coal mine disasters system, and the Coal Mine Disasters Network (CMDN) is defined. Then a set of methodology to study the CMDN is established including modeling methods of networking, research procedure and analysis indicators, which laid the foundation for researching universal disaster network systematically. Through the analysis of the whole network and four disasters subnets constructed based on coal mine disasters cases analysis, the results show that the CMDN is not only a small-world network but a scale-free network. According to analysis results of topological characteristics and network attributes, beneficial suggestions on strategies and methods of coal mine safety production are put forward. Through the analysis of disaster subgroups, four disasters subsystem division above is proved applicative, and the coal mines should take these disasters subsystem as the objects of disaster prevention and control systematically. Empirical analyses of Egonetworks further indicate that Network Research Methods have important significance and value to the studies of coal mine disasters and disaster systems. Study results of this paper show that Network Research Methods give a new perspective to scan those coal mine disasters and coal mine disasters system, and could serve as useful aided analysis tools for coal mine safety production. |
