Wool shrinkproofing finishing is an important part of wool processing.At present,the most widely used chlorination method shrinkproofing finishing will cause serious pollution.However,the existing non chlorine shrinkproofing technology has not been industrialized.As a new type of green processing technology,protease-based wool shrinkproofing finishing is a research hotspot in the field of wool shrinkproofing finishing in recent years.In order to realize the industrialization application of protease method for wool top rapid shrinkproofing treatment and reach the same processing level as chlorination method,a systematic study had carried out on the key problems of protease method wool shrinkproofing finishing in this paper.Based on the reaction characteristics of protease and wool fiber scale layer,an efficient catalytic system composed of activator and protease Savinase 16 L was established for the first time.Through the exhaustion process,the system can effectively peel off the scale of wool fiber,breaking through the technical bottleneck of efficient degradation of wool scale.It was found that the activator can loosen the scale layer by opening the disulfide bond in the wool scale.It can reduce the surface crystallization index of wool fiber,and transform part of the protein chain from ?-folded and ?-angle structure to ?-helical structure and random curly structure.It can improve the hydrolysis efficiency of the enzyme to wool scales by improving the accessibility of the reaction site of the enzyme to the substrate in the wool protein chain segment.The mode of scale removal is from point to surface.Through the systematic research,the highly efficient catalytic theory and method of protease method for wool descaling and modification were formed,which laid a theoretical foundation for the realization of wool rapid shrinkproofing processing.Based on the rapid reaction mechanism of high efficiency catalytic system and wool scale,the continuous and rapid shrinkproofing finishing technology by protease method with multiple padding process mode was established.It has been found that the efficiency of wool scale stripping with highly efficient catalytic system is significantly improved by multiple padding process.The multiple padding process can promote the coordination of physical scaling and biochemical reaction scaling.Wool scale can be peeled off obviously by padding highly efficient catalytic system for 2.5 minutes(padding treatment 5 times,30 seconds / time)under the condition of temperature 50 ?and p H value 8.0.The traditional cognition that biological enzyme needs long time processing in textile application had been broken through.Through the research of continuous processing equipment,the key technical problems in the industrialization of protease method wool rapid continuous shrinkproofing processing technology were overcome.The production line of continuous protease method for shrinkproofing finishing was developed,including working fluid circulation system,heat preservation system,spray system,chemical supplement system,automatic control system of process parameters and other equipment.A total of nine tank industrial production process has been formed.The process was stable and the product quality was excellent.It is a great breakthrough to realize the industrialization application of continuous and rapid shrinkproofing processing by protease method.
