Nanopesticides,an emerging technological development in agricultural field, are of clear superiority in increasing effective deposition, improving bioactivity of active ingredient, and decreasing the pesticide usage. With the nanopesticides development technology coming to mature and market demand increasing, the security of nanopesticides has received more and more attention. In this study,lambda-cyhalothrin was chose as the target, the difference of three lambda-cyhalothrin formulations(water emulsions, solid nanodispersion, and nanocapsules)in rat metabolism, residue dissipation and occupational exposure were systemic studied. The result of metabolism of lambda-cyhalothrin in rats showed that the concentration of lambda-cyhalothrin decreased rapidly in heart, liver, kidney, spleen and brain. While, the concentration increased in fat, muscle, oophoron and uterus,in addition, the concentration reached the highest in fat.Water emulsions and solid nanodispersion also decreased in lungs, while nanocapsules was deposited easily in lungs. The half-lives of water emulsions, solid nanodispersion, and nanocapsules in cucumber were 2.0 d,4.2 d and 5.1 d,respectively. The final residue of the three formulation in cucumber were all far below the maximum residue limit, which indicated that there was no dietary risk with the three formulation. In the same protection condition, solid nanodispersion showed the highest occupational exposure risk, and with the poor protection, the exposure risk was unacceptable when using solid nanodispersion. So long pants and mask are recommended when applying lambda-cyhalothrin in greenhouse cucumber planting system. The result of this study provide important data support for the accurate healthy risk assessment of nanopesticides.
