This article applies D-phase emulsifying-method to the formulation screening of EW, and systematically studied the stable mechanism of EW-formation and the effects on EW-stability by different additives and solvent. At the same time, we also compared the activity and safety with lambda-cyhalothrin EW and lambda-cyhalothrin EC processing by different promoters. Furthermore, through detailed feasibility studying on production equipment, ensured the successfully progress of the industrialization of lambda-cyhalothrin EW. Main tasks are as follows:1?Based on the determination of HLB value of different types of emulsifier and co-emulsifier, comprehensively measured and compared the particle diameter, viscosity and surface tension, while systematically screened the thickeners, antifreezes, defoamers and solvents, etc. Then finally selected the 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin EW formula:lambda-cyhalothrin 2.5%; emulsifier (700#:KBS-5= 7:3) 6%; co-emulsifier(18-alkanol)1%; solvent (xylene:cyclohexanone:BLW-1=6:1:1) 8%; thickener ZCJ-10.02%; antifreeze glycol 2%; Defoamer:0.1%; water making up. The 2.5% lambda- cyhalothrin EW processed According to the above formula, its performance can reach the required control targets of routine pesticide EW.Founded in the formula selection process, the correct choice of emulsifier is the key of successfully developing EW; The application of emulsifier and co-emulsifier may reduce the interface tension between the oil-water and form a stable protective film; the use of the thickener can increase the viscosity of the system, which can prevent the inter-coalescence between latex particles, increase emulsion stability; particle size is a very important reference in EW development, used it in EW formula selection process, can greatly speed up the screening speed.2?For the 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin EW and the same content EC. conduct the indoor bioassay and field efficacy test, and evaluate the safety. Bioassay and field experiments show that 2.5% lambda-cyhalothrin EW has the same control effects on the rice leaf roller and cabbage caterpillar with the same dose of EC. Safety evaluation tests show that 2,5% lambda-cyhalothrin EW has higher safety on cabbage than the same dose of EC.3?Through the studying on selection of process equipment and process parameters, solved the current problems of EW product such as precipitation, stratification, emulsion breaking and so on, realized the scale and stability production of this product.
