The ever increasingly complex nature of project organization brings about the decline in the efficiency of organizational management, intensifies the conflict over interests between different parties within the organization, and thereby exerts considerable negative impact on the construction of the project. Based on value creating aspectof the project organization, the paper probes into the internal evolutionary mechanismofthe project organization from the perspective of the formation mechanism responsible for the evolution of the project organization, with the aim to find a coordinating approach to enhance the value-creating capacity of the organization, therebyshedding light on the management of the project organization. There are seven chapters in this thesis. Chapter?introduces the research background, makes a literature review of the research object, and lays out the framework for the whole thesis.Based on the theory of inter-organization, dissipative structure theory, and complexity theory,Chapter?analyzes the characteristics of the project organization, and goes on to constructa macro-meso- micro analytical framework in the research of the dynamic evolution mechanism of the project organizationand a three-dimensional model resting on the formation mechanism, work mechanism and coordination mechanism of impetus. Chapter?probes into the cause of the nature of the impetus based on the formation mechanism of the impetus through a comparison between the four major elements of the impetus obtained via a survey and the order parameter with the help of Haken Model. Chapter?could be further divided into two parts. In the first part, it definesthe concept of the "dynamic field" and from which perspective it goes on to explain how the impetus restrains and meanwhile directs each party in the organization. In the second part, it demonstrates the evolution of the organization on a general scale via an analysis of the relations between the phenomena of emergence and transition and a description of thebehavioralcharacteristics of each party under the influence or the field through a Game Model. Based on the findings of the previous chapters, Chapter?goes on to put forward an approach to coordinate the project organization from the four perspectives of interests, structure, relationship and information, and then steps further to elaborate on the detailsin implementation of those measures. Chapter VI constructs an index system to evaluate the degree of order in the constructional project organization and expands on the operating process of the fuzzy integral evaluation method. Chapter VII embodies a case study on the basis of the preceding analysis. This thesis constructs a formation mechanism model of the evolution of the constructional project organization, puts forward an approach to coordinate the organization through a detailed analysis of the internal work mechanism of evolution of the organization on the basis of a study of the formation mechanism and work mechanism of the impetus, and carries out a quantitative analysis of the ordered results formed during the evolution of organization. On the basis of theoretical analysis, this research, via an empirical case study, provides a new perspective in the research of project organizational management and thereby offer possible resolutions to the existing problems in the complex project management. However the study of project organization from the dynamic perspective of the evolution represents only an attempt in this field, and a further study was believed to result in a better understanding of the internal mechanism of the constructional project organization and thereby lead to a more effectual way to enhance the value creating capacity of the project organization.
