HIAF(High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility)is one of the major scientific and technological infrastructure construction projects in the Twelfth Five-Year Plan.The Kicker power supply is an important part of the HIAF device,which is responsible for providing the required quasi-rectangular current pulses for the Kicker magnet.The HIAF-Kicker power supply is proposed to adopt a variety of design structures,and the control system is required to have the working performance of high-speed,reliable,and stable.The HIAF-Kicker power supply puts forward the following design requirements for the control system.Firstly,In order to give consideration to both hydrogen thyratron switch and solid-state switch,the control system needs to have multi-module and multi-device control capability,which can output hundreds of high precision synchronous fast pulses.Secondly,in order to digitally collect the high-current fast pulse waveform output by the Kicker power supply,a high-speed pulse acquisition capability is required.Thirdly,In order to adapt to the nanosecond synchronization timing design requirements of the HIAF,it is necessary to introduce the timing information output by the White Rabbit device into the Kicker power control system,and complete the analysis and application of the time information.Aiming at the control requirements of HIAF-Kicker power supply,this paper proposes a digital controller scheme suitable for various Kicker power supply structures.The digital controller hardware consists of the core board,the core backplane,the optical fiber expansion board,and the optical fiber daughter board.Based on this controller structure,the core software is designed.Then test is completed in the solid-state Kicker power supply IGBT driver,which shows that the software design meets the requirements of HIAF-Kicker power supply control.Based on a domestic ADC chip,the Kicker power high-speed waveform acquisition system adopts the design structure of front-end acquisition daughter card plus FPGA carrier board.The acquisition rate is up to 2.5Gsps,and the resolution is 12 Bit.According to the characteristics of Kicker power supply waveform,high-speed waveforms are re-encoded and processed digitally.And a Kicker waveform detection algorithm is proposed.The system was verified by the acquisition of the output waveform of the bipolar solid Kicker power supply fitted by signal generator,and the results show that the acquisition system can recover the waveform information.Finally,the White Rabbit device is used in this paper to introduce high-precision time information into the Kicker high-speed acquisition system.The TAI time code output by the timing device is decoded and calculated,and the time information is converted through the Verilog hardware description language in the FPGA of acquisition card.The work of this paper is the core and key technology of HIAF-Kicker power supply control system,and provides a valuable technical reference scheme for the HIRFL-Kicker's next transformation.
