The exhibition space is a special function space for information transmission and reception.With the development of information media and the change of design concepts,the information transmission of exhibition space has been investigated deeply from unidirectional linear mode to bidirectional circular mode.The bidirectional form of information flow links the various participants and media in the exhibition space and an information field as a whole.Therefore,based on the field theory,the information field of the exhibition space has been studied,to explore the information transmission and reception mode in the exhibition space under the new medium through the exhibition information field.Through the exploration and construction of the exhibition information field,we can set up a proper fulcrum and tap the design value for the exhibition design.The dissertation builds up s on the exhibition space design in the past ten years,originated from "International Academic Exchange Visits",and the German inspection work as a visiting scholar in 2017.The transmission and reception mechanism,information operation process and construction strategy of the exhibition spatial information field are analyzed in this dissertation.From the perspective of new media ecology and design development of exhibition design in the future,by involving the classic information dissemination theory in exhibition space and previous theoretical research,such as design deconstruction and practical summary.Based on the framework of design science,interdisciplinary research method,literature research method,case analysis method and other research methods are implemented comprehensively.This study attempts to deconstruct the phenomenon of information transmission in the exhibition space from the perspective of information field,and summarizes the point of the construction of the exhibition information field through logical deduction.In addition,the corresponding construction strategy and framework are proposed from the perspective of design problem solving.The stands of previous research literature in this thesis are design,communication,cognitive psychology,spatial architecture and other studies related to exhibition space.The main concluding remarks of this thesis are as follow,First,the theoretical research is not the old research model,where information field is used as analysis concept tool,but a new model,where we could propose the information field framework of individuals,places and information.The relevant concepts,definitions and theories of information field and exhibition space are defined,and the correlation between them is summarized.The existence basis of exhibition information field is demonstrated from the perspective of relevance as well.Second,this thesis defines two aspects: the macro external information movement environment and the micro internal information cognition environment,on which it analyzes the transmission and reception process of the exhibition information field.In terms of macro external information,media place is divided into real place,virtual place and interactive place,and concluded the construction relationship and information design.In terms of micro internal information,with the cognitive psychology to analyze the process of information transmission and reception,it summarizes the internal human cognitive model of information processing.Based on the cognitive model and practical verification,it proposes the cognitive advantage effect of multi-channel interaction,and explores the new possibility of design and development of exhibition information field.Third,this thesis defines two aspects: the macro external information movement environment and the micro internal information cognition environment,on which it analyzes the transmission and reception process of the exhibition information field.In terms of macro external thesis summarize a “Question-Strategy-Praxis” design problem solving method.In this design strategy model,with the three elements of construction as the breakthrough point,the key issues of the construction of the exhibition information field are clarified,the construction strategy and process of the exhibition information field are proposed accordingly,and the feasibility of the strategy is verified in practice.The information revolution has gradually diversified the ways of transmission and reception and expression,which also reshapes the relationship between exhibition space society and city.The design and research of exhibition space are facing both opportunities and challenges.Starting from the study of spatial relations under the intervention of field system,the exhibition information field is beneficial to establish a systematic thinking logic for the design of exhibition space,and promote the formation of its optimal design method through a new interpretation of the exhibition spatial relations.The analysis of information cognition in the context of humanism in the exhibition information field,overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional view of exhibition information cognition,which relies too much on the material environment,and provides a comprehensive theoretical perspective for the exhibition design.
