This type of literature has been experiencing almost70-year historywith fresh subjects, unique writer groups and potential promising future. All of thesecharacters will secure “Atom Bomb Literature” to become the unique existence. Japan, as theearliest atomic bomb victims, maintains the contradictive attitude toward realistic problems:the war and atomic energy-developing. Under the nuclear attack,“Atom Bomb Literature”with exploring human survival and spiritual crisis tends to hold fast to its position that will notlose or fade away. This type of literature has tragic flavor and warning function for humanfuture existence. It is a worthwhile effort for Japanese writers in the age of nuclear to makegood use of nuclear energy resources and to smooth over the increasing contradiction betweennuclear energy and survival, which directs a new thinking perspective for human beings.This article is made up of seven parts:Introduction: Mainly introduce the origin and self-interpretation of “Atom BombLiterature; its research status and method. State the former related research and the difference.Indicate the difficult points and main ideas.Chapter1: Mainly focuse on Haratamiki, composers in the period of press contral,andOtayoko. Exploring the original track and the characters of “Atom Bomb Literature”.Andalso, analyze hard times of pioneering creation of “Atom Bomb Literature” pioneers.Chapter2: The literary creation of “Atom Bomb Literature” and a new sense of criticism.Through Kuriharasadako,“Atom Bomb Literature” developed from original literary characterof “experience and record” to the new themes and new perspectives. She begins to recollecthistorical causes, and realized that the tragedy of Hiroshima was not the consequence thatcaused only by the United States, it’s also the consequence of the great clamor of the Japanesemilitarism.Kurihara’s progressive ideas have certain positive meaning, but at the same timeher ideas also have limitations which have been influenced by Japanese culture.Chapter3: The masterpieces of “Atom Bomb Literature". Chapter4: Wider range of the subjects and various rendering ways.
