Malawi is located in southern Africa where Christianity is the main religion.About 70% of the population claim to Christians and Christian morals have a huge influence on Malawians.Christian ethics has a major role to guide Malawi towards justice and national development and also plays a very important role in social political life.Christian ethics in Malawi is a mix of traditional African morals and Christian values and has a theoretical and practical significance. This paper focuses on the Christian ethical thought of Malawi from four aspects: first, the origin of the Christian ethical thought of Malawi;Secondly, the content and characteristics of Malawi ethical thought;Thirdly, the internal relation between Malawi Christian ethical thought and realistic politics;Fourth, the positive effect of Malawi's Christian ethical thoughts on social governance. There are two sources of Christian ethical thoughts in Malawi: one is the western Christian ethical thoughts, and the other is the African ethical thought Malawi. The traditional Christian thought comes from the old and New Testament contents in the bible such as the ten commandments of Moses and the Sermon on the Mount. However, the Christian ethics of Malawi does not stop there, but integrates the local ethical resources into the traditional Christian ethics, which has more realistic orientation and distinctive characteristics of transforming the society. While western advocate individualism, personal characteristics of direct dialogue with god,we Malawians are into the family, society and nation, the family ethics, social ethics, political ethics in the realization of personal value.Whereas western Christianity now takes god out of society and politics, our Malawian Christianity places god in all aspects of life including politics. It is not only a traditional religion to settle people's minds, but also a social institution to civilize people. There is no doubt that there is an inseparable relationship between the Christian ethics and political ethics in Malawi. There is a growing demand for Christian ethics to play a major role in solving social economic problems facing the country.According to the World Bank's economic report, poverty and corruption are the biggest challenge facing Malawians today. In 2013,Malawians were shocked after learning that the international support to the country had stopped because several politicians and public bureaucrats had plundered large amounts of money from public finances. This is a scandal that became to be known as ‘Cashgate'.The so-called ‘Cash gate' scandal in Malawi showed how deep corruption and abuse of public resources had found a way into Malawian society.Based on social corruption scandals and Malawi to the country's economy analysis, this paper tries to integrate the Christian ethics in people daily life and social governance, the Christian ethics as the guiding principle of the people behavior and expect us to Malawi in Christian sacred values under the guidance of state can successfully eliminate corruption and improving social poverty, make the society as a whole tend to be fair and justice in the "world".In recent years,a growing number of researchers are asking: what is the meaning of Christian ethics in a diverse and extraordinarily complex secular society? According to the available information, the study of Christian ethics has two purposes: one is to guide the trend of secular life with the ethical norms of religion in the debate of secular morality as much as possible; The second is to prove that Christian ethics can make a unique contribution to modern society, especially to build a realistic political system of fairness and justice. Our Christian ethical thinking in Malawi embodies these two goals and is committed to leading Malawi through spiritual awakening to the path of the most just, fair and just country in Africa.
