Research On The Thought Of "creative Transformation And Innovative Development" Of Chinese Traditional Culture

Since modern times,the historical answer to “where China is going” has always focused on the era torture of “what's the future of Chinese traditional culture”.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,contemporary Chinese Marxists have put forward the important idea of “promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture”(hereinafter it is referred to as “two creations”),which represents the political height and scientific attitude of the Communist Party of China on the issue of cultural inheritance,and points out the direction for the comprehensive inheritance and development of Chinese culture in the new historical stage.However,the appearance of “political discourse” as the first appearance of the “two creations” is often regarded as self-evident,and it seems that it can be used in all contexts related to cultural inheritance at will.Therefore,it is necessary to take the Marxist concept of cultural heritage as the theoretical horizon,to illustrate its theoretical positioning in critical reflection,to clarify its ideological connotation in the interpretation of academic rationality,and to highlight its significance in the history of thought in the historical examination.“Two creations” can be interpreted from a broad sense and a narrow sense.In a broad sense,“two creations”,“two actions” and “two hundreds” together constitute the main content of contemporary Chinese Marxist cultural view,whereas in a narrow sense,“two creations”,“two phases” and “two haves” together constitute the core connotation of contemporary Chinese Marxist concept of inheritance and development.Specifically,“creative transformation” refers to the transformation of the ancient cultural connotation and form into new connotation and new style in line with the needs of modern people according to the development of the times.However,“Innovative development” refers to the development of “new culture” in line with the requirements of the times on the basis of retaining the reasonable factors of “old culture” with the development of social history as well as the process of continuous development into a “renewed culture”.“Creative transformation” focuses on“continuation”,that is,it is a modern interpretation and contemporary transformation of excellent traditional culture on the basis of sorting out and screening the matrix of Chinese traditional culture.In contrast,“innovative development” emphasizes“opening up”,namely,refining and developing the connotation and form with contemporary value in practice on the basis of creative transformation.As far as the philosophical foundation is concerned,the thought of“two creations”contains the philosophical background of historical materialism,the philosophical connotation of dialectical negation and the philosophical requirements of dialectical development.In terms of the operational mechanism,the thought of “two creations” contains the internal mechanism from “thought reproduction” to “context replantation”,from“dialectical analysis” to “level by level abstraction”,from “space-time integration” to“comprehensive innovation”,and from “vertical and horizontal combination” to“cycle progress”.It is these philosophical foundations and operational mechanisms that regulate the basic attributes of the “two creations” thought as the Marxist concept of cultural inheritance,and the expansion mode of the “two creations” thought as the unity of inheritance ideas and methods.After a series of definitions,analysis and interpretation,it is hoped that “promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese excellent traditional culture” will become a specific concept of Marxist theoretical category and an organic part of contemporary Chinese Marxist theoretical system.As for the transformation and development of Chinese traditional culture,it is necessary to take the pedigree of modern Chinese ideological and cultural thoughts as the historical background,and the realistic situation of contemporary Chinese social development as the background of the times,to further systematically investigate the motivation,object,direction and path of the “two creations” of Chinese traditional culture,so as to promote the realization of the “two creations” of Chinese traditional culture.The theoretical significance of the thought of “two creations” needs to be genealogically positioned and historically examined in the pattern of cultural thoughts since modern times.Vertically speaking,the cultural view of “two creations” is the ideological continuation and theoretical representation of the theoretical logic of Marxist cultural inheritance view in contemporary China.It not only inherits the core view of Marxist cultural inheritance in an all-round way,but also elucidates the evaluation system judging the value standard of traditional culture,enriching the fundamental basis of traditional culture inheritance,integrating the ideological achievements of “comprehensive innovation”,developing the inheritance concept of“critical inheritance”,and clarifying the basic limits of cultural transformation and innovation,thus opening up a new realm of Marxist cultural inheritance view.Horizontally speaking,the dialectical and unified thinking mode contained in the “two creations”,the cultural mentality of “self-confidence”,“resolvable cultural cognition”and “practice oriented” cultural standards have replaced the way of thinking of binary opposition,or the cultural mentality of inferiority or conceit,the cultural cognition of holism,or the internal or external cultural standards respectively,thus transcending the cultural dilemma of “radical conservative” and opening up a new field for the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.In a word,the theoretical appearance and practical application of the “two creations” thought is the Marxist answer of the contemporary Chinese Communists about “what is the future of Chinese traditional culture” since modern times.However,it does not mean the final answer to the question of this era.Instead,it is only a periodic theoretical presentation produced by adapting to the new era context.As long as the question of “where is China going” has not been thoroughly answered,and as long as the dispute existing in “ancient and modern China” or in “China and the west”in the field of ideology and culture has not been completely settled,the cultural mission of the transformation and development of traditional culture will still drive us forward.
