As one of the greatest composers of the 20 th century,Prokofiev,the Soviet pianist,conductor,and actor of Soviet people,who won the Lenin medal and Stalin medal for many times,wrote the masterpiece War and Peace at the end of his life,which generally reflects his creative thinking,aesthetic concept and composition style.Adhering to the basic principles of dialectical materialism and historical materialism,this paper explores the implication of beauty of "Feng Gu" in Prokofiev's opera "War and Peace",and makes a further discussion on its historical status and modern enlightenment.Chapter One: Emotion Power,moving "amorous feelings ".This chapter explains the deep patriotic feelings and faithful love in the opera "War and Peace" from three aspects:the pure beauty,the elegant beauty and the fresh beauty,transcends the spiritual pursuit of the powerful and the transcendent vulgarity,and converts to the soul of nature.The expression of this kind of emotion is bright,sincere and abundant,which implies the brilliance of reason and extraordinary values,and permeates the emotional pleasure and spirit of the creative subject,and has "a strong force that can fly high ",which corresponds to the aesthetic characteristics of Emotion Power.Chapter two: Character Essence,perseverance.This chapter interprets the resolute "Fengu" in the opera "War and Peace" from three aspects: the vigorous strength of the russian army,the simplicity and optimism of the russian people,the simplicity of the people's hero,the compassion of the patriots worried about the country and the people.This kind of deep serious and vigorous emotion,which is mixed with family and country feelings and social responsibility,permeates the lofty spirit of creation subject's integrity and perseverance,and has "towering or moral fearless and brave power",which corresponds to the aesthetic characteristics of Character Essence.Chapter three: Opera Style,the form of "Fenggu ".This chapter,following the two main style features of "Feng Gu" beauty in the opera "War and Peace ",combined with the internal law of music art,makes a more detailed investigation on the internal mechanism of " Feng Gu " beauty generation.Combining static and dynamic,the rigid and soft,the dependence of the unity of opposites,the inner relationship between the real and the virtual is the necessary condition to form the aesthetic character of the "Fenggu" in the opera "War and Peace".Chapter Four: The Historical Status and Modernization of the opera War and Peace.This chapter discusses its important historical contribution in the history of Soviet opera,and explores its modern enlightenment as an artistic classic of war themes.The conclusion summarizes and continues the related issues above,and further discusses the character of the composer which is indispensable to constitute the beauty of“Feng Gu”,thus deepening the implication of Beauty of “Feng Gu” in the opera.This paper explores the implication of Beauty of “Feng Gu” in the western opera War and Peace,which is of theoretical and practical significance to the construction the writing style of War and Peace for Chinese scholars and the “Feng Gu” theory flourishing in the fields of literature,painting and calligraphy.
