The Research On The Opera Written For Feng Xiaoqing

Feng Xiaoqing opera refers to the compositions and performances for Feng Xiaoqing in which she is the main character. It is a very important literary component of the theater in Ming and Qing Dynasties. This situation had continued for more than 200 years because of the literary figures'concerning for an accomplished woman named Feng Xiaoqing in Ming Dynasty. This article starts with the phenomenon of"Feng Xiaoqing rush"to analyze and study the symbolic and emblematic meaning of Feng Xiaoqing image. It consists of three chapters. The first chapter introduces the contents about the literary and dramatic work written for Xiaoqing, also about the story of Xiaoqing, correlative examinations and argumentations. The second chapter analyzes the Xiaoqing's image evolution and the ideological content of the literati basing on the surviving plays. At the same time we can recognize the symbolic meaning and emblematic significance. The third chapter analyzes the phenomenon of"Endearment buff"in Ming and Qing Dynasties, exploring the problem of the literati's acceptance of Xiaoqing. In the analysis and research on the literati and Xiaoqing, the whole article studies more deeply on the society , culture and ideology in both two contemporaries of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
