This paper selects Hans Zimmer as the research object,who is the leader in the field of Hollywood film music creation.It aims to analyze Hans Zimmer's creative ideas and techniques from the perspective of postmodernism,so as to understand the music cultural logic and cross-cultural value behind his ideas and techniques.The first part of this paper is the introduction,which mainly introduces Hans Zimmer,compares his writing style with other Hollywood film composers,and explains the related concepts of "film music".In the second part,the author constructs the vision space of this paper from the macro level.Under the characteristics of post-modernism,such as disorder,deconstruction and diversification,the author maps Hans Zimmer's meso level concepts of "soundscape",digital music and post minimalism,so as to clarify the ideas for the later technical analysis.The third part from the specific level of Hans Zimmer's pitch organization in the post simplicity techniques,timbre concept and orchestration shape and sound organization techniques for a large number of spectrum analysis,based on the film image and combined with sound spectrum analysis,spatial analysis,from composition technology to sound organization,all-round show Hans Zimmer's creation,in order to support the core argument of this paper.The fourth part,based on the previous argument,discusses the cross-cultural value of his works,mainly including three dimensions: "elite culture and mass culture","tradition,modern and post-modern" and "standard and other culture".In addition,it also involves the aesthetic evolution of film music and the cross-cultural communication in the post industrial era.This paper finds that Hans Zimmer constructs a new immersive audio-visual language with music visualization under the concept of "soundscape";The sound organization under the concept of digital music makes some elements in traditional composition transform into sound form control,space configuration,sound structure and energy development of different element groups;The introduction of post simplicity technique breaks through the traditional material development mode with micro variation,dissolves the musical structure and transforms it into the accompanying structure of the film.The notes are "simple" but rich in sound,and become the carrier of timbre sound;The expansion of timbre concept is accompanied by the transplantation and digestion of acoustic instrument playing method;The multiple collage of fittings is the embodiment of the convergence of standard and other culture.To sum up,Hans Zimmer's creation presents distinct postmodern characteristics,and is a model of post industrial trend in Hollywood movies.The various ideas and techniques formed from this become an important means of his cross-cultural expression.Hans Zimmer applies the music style after the fusion of standard and other music culture in the world music context in a common language,It has gained unprecedented cross-cultural value.
