technology workers has both commonality and individuality.The academic community has not yet formed a unified standard regarding its environmental composition and index system construction.There is no relevant research on the classification of ideological and political education environment for scientific and technological workers.Therefore,this paper discusses the rationality of using the PESTEL model to analyze the ideological and political education environment of contemporary science and technology workers from the perspective of the organization's responsibilities and objectives,the classification of ideological and political education environment,and the classification of talent innovation environment.Furthermore,this paper expanded and improved the PESTEL model.Based on the PESTEL model,according to the categories of politics,economy,society,technology and legal environment,we constructed the environmental indicators system of ideological and political education for includes five first-level indicators of politics,economy,society,technology and law,17 secondary indicators of science and technology innovation policies,science and technology awards,scientific and technological evaluation,economic development level,modern economic system,economic globalization,scientific and technological human resource structure and employment structure,talent service and academic services,scientific culture,innovation atmosphere,research ethics and academic norms,professional ethics,social opinion environment,new technology,new media,work facilities and conditions,intellectual property.Based on the PESTEL model,the core formula for constructing the environmental indicators system of ideological and political education for contemporary science and
