Study On Visegrad Group

The international political society is a set of complex system featuring multiple layers,diverse dimensions and evolutionary qualities.Varieties of units and elements of the international political society interact with each other at various layers and through different dimensions,thus forming dynamic structural relations and driving the evolution of the whole system of international political society.Throughout the evolutionary process of the international political society,nation-states have always been core actors since becoming dominant in the international political society,and hence,interrelations and interactions among nation-states come to be the core content of the international political society.To boost their bargaining power in the international political society and promote the materialization of their targeted interests,all nationstates in the international political society are always prone to cluster together or even form nation groups based on diverse considerations such as geopolitical factors,political pursuits and economic interests etc.Nation groups of various sorts that are jointly formed by nation-states in diverse manners are diffusely existing throughout the modern international political society,and are proactively engaging themselves in multiple regional and global issues,exerting significant impact on the development and evolution of certain issues.This study,on basis of the core actor nation-state in the international political society,starts from the universal phenomenon of nation-state grouping in the international political society,and from the perspective of regional nation groups,sets Visegrad Group that is composed of the four Central and Eastern European nations,including Czech,Hungary,Poland and Slovakia,as the research object.This study employs relevant theoretical approaches of international political sociology as research dimensions,firstly from the dimension of international society,conducting a theoretical exploration into the phenomenon of nation-state grouping in the international political society,secondly from the dimension of historical evolution,conducting an in-depth interpretation of the evolution of Visegrad Group,thirdly from the dimension of regional governance,conducing a comparative analysis of behaviors of Visegrad Group on regional issues,and finally from the dimension of world politics,conducting a comprehensive examination on positioning of Visegrad Group on the global stage.Inspired by the complex system theory,this study focuses on the phenomenon of nationstate grouping in the international political society and conducts an in-depth interpretation of the research object Visegrad Group,with the aim to obtain a more complete comprehension of Visegrad Group,advance systematic research on Visegrad Group,enrich studies on CEE countries and the EU system,and explore theoretically into the phenomenon of nation-state grouping in the international political society.
