On The Issue Of Chinese Ideology Safety In The New Epoch

Ideology has always been an important area where big countries compete with each other.The socialism with Chinese characteristics has passed into the new epoch and the struggle of ideology between big countries has become fiercer.Ideology safety,an important part of nation's overall security,has an important meaning towards the consolidation of the socialist regime and the guiding position of Marxism,the realization of the great rejuvenation of China.This article,under the guidance of Xi Jinping's Overall Safety Concept,starts from clearing ideology and the notion of ideology safety,analyzes the severe challenges facing the safety of our national ideology in the new epoch,draws lessons from the experience both home and abroad in the protection of ideology and tries to construct a system of maintaining national ideology safety in the new epoch.Socialist with Chinese characteristics has entered a new epoch when China is in a critical period of wholly finishing the moderately prosperous society and building a great modern socialist country and when China has encountered the occurrence of the change of social principal contradiction,the goal of development,the strategic development.Ideology,as a very important part in superstructure,can not only guide social idea and unite people's thought,but function as the powerful spiritual support in promoting the development of society.But there are many great challenges facing national ideology safety in this new epoch: 1.The challenge from the change of social principal contradiction;2.The challenge caused by the diversification of national ideology value;3.The challenge from the infiltration of western ideology;4.The challenge caused by the networking of information;5.The challenge caused by the inadequacy in the construction of ideology safety.In the process of maintaining national ideology safety in the new epoch those are all important issues including tackling those challenges,responding to the people's desire for a good life while safeguarding the ideology safety,solidifying the guiding role of Marxism in our nation's ideology,cultivating and practicing socialist key values in the whole society,strengthening government's control of ideology in the time ofnetworked information and new media,and improving the quality and level of Chinese ideology promotion.How to deal with the challenge facing our nation's ideology safety in the new epoch? We can get the reference from the lesson of China and abroad in safeguarding the ideology safety.This article adopts the method of the combination of longitudinal investigation and horizontal comparison to investigate the lesson of maintaining ideology safety of both home and abroad.It not only analyzes the longitudinal historical dimension of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics but studies the lesson of safeguarding the ideology safety by horizontally comparing the experience of China,America and former Soviet Union.Though the measures adopted by different countries in maintaining the Ideology safety might be different,the study of specific case is valuable in detecting the general.Through the analysis of the experience of maintaining the ideology safety by China,America and former Soviet Union,people's recognition of the nation's mainstream ideology must have the following criteria: To begin with,the building of the ideology safety must be directed by the correct guiding principle to assure the right direction.Second,the economy,politics,culture and social and ecological condition's effective realization is in agreement with the core value of the mainstream ideology.Third,the system of core value is playing the dominant role in directing the social idea in the field of ideology.Fourth,the ideology safety must be realized by the effective system design and system operation.Fifth,the realization of the ideology safety depends on the publicizing means of ideology and the renewal of the mode of discourse by utilizing the new media,promoting the blend of media,forging the omnimedia platform to realize party's innovative theory reaching the ordinary family,achieving the way of ideology entering people's daily life,facilitating the ideology in the popular way,and really realizing the ideology safety by the recognition of the masses.Ideology security is an important part of national overall security,so we must put the problem of maintaining ideology security into the study of national overall security.I try to construct a system in safeguarding our nation's ideology safety based on the referencing the experience of home and abroad and the guide of Xi Jinping overall view on national security;to maintain the ideology safety with Xi Jinping's overall view on national security as the guiding principle in the new epoch;to consolidate the social,economical,cultural and social and ecological foundation to maintain the ideologysafety in the new epoch;to establish the long-term mechanism of assessment and appraisal to maintain the ideology safety;to propose the new route to maintain the ideology safety by strengthening the management of the ideology by the party,the leader team construction,the intensifying of the socialist's core value in directing the social idea,the construction of legal system,the perfection of the management of the network,and the innovation of the publicity.
