Research On The Construction Of Socialist Ideological Leadership In Contemporary China

With its cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new stage,Contemporary China has embarked on a new journey to become a great modern socialist country.In a society where people are shifting from masses to groups,where their ideas,cultures and concepts are diverse,and where the ideological struggle is increasingly fierce,the Communist Party of China(CPC)entails the guidance of scientific socialist ideology theory even more if it wants to successfully lead the vast majority of the people to carry out the pioneering modernization cause.Based on the historical position in the new era,it is of important theoretical value and practical significance to clarify the inevitability,reality and ideality of putting forward the important exposition of “building a socialist ideology with strong leading power”from a theoretical perspective,to analyze systematically the exploration by CPC on strengthening the construction of this leading power,and to propose strategies for its construction featuring socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.This dissertation consists of an introduction,six chapters,and a conclusion.The introduction clarifies the inevitability,ideality and reality of building a socialist ideology with leading power from three aspects,namely,the universality of leading the masses,the objectivity of leading the practice,and the complexity of leading the trend of thought.As a special social practice,the leading process of ideology is a process that the leading subject leads the object to advance towards the established goal through certain ways and methods.The process of improving the leading power of ideology is also the process to improve the elements and functions in practical activities and coordinate their interactions under the guidance of ideology.In this process,more advanced quality of the socialist ideology itself,more subjectivity exerted by the leading subject,more precise orientation of the object,and more innovative leading methods will bring about more prominent leading effect and stronger leading power of ideology.Only by strengthening constantly the role played by the leading subject,the precise orientation of the object,and the systematic innovation of leading methods can the construction of leading power of socialist ideology be completed.In accordance with the logic and framework of “the leading subject and its role,the object and its orientation,the leading method and its systematic innovation”,the dissertation attempts to explore the powerful source and way of building the leading power of socialist ideology.Chapter One systematically analyzes the connotation and constituent elements of the leading power of socialist ideology,thus clarifying the powerful source and way for its construction.The essential characteristics of socialist ideology,which are popular,advanced,scientific and practical,are the source of its strong leading power.In building the leading power of socialist ideology,the full play of the various elements and the optimization of the operation mechanism can be the vigorous way.From the perspectives of the leading subject,leading the masses,leading the practice,leading the trend of thought respectively,Chapter One to Five sort out the experience of building a socialist ideology with strong leading power and put forward strategies for its construction.In the aspect of the leading subject,it is recommended to “stick to clarifying the subject of responsibility and clearing responsibilities of CPC committees at all levels”,“insist on respecting the subject of creation and promoting people's pioneering spirit”,and “adhere to strengthening the leading subject and concentrating the power of ideological work”;in the aspect of leading the masses,it is recommended to “follow the logic of knowledge to arm the mind of the masses with the party's scientific theories”,“follow the logic of value to win the support of the people through meeting their yearning for a better life”,and “follow the logic of the goal to unify the power of the masses through the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation”;in the aspect of leading the practice,it is recommended to “adhere to the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics to lead China's practice”,“insist on the socialist ideology with contemporary characteristics to guide the struggle of the times”,and “stick to the popular socialist ideology to lead mass entrepreneurship”;in the aspect of leading the trend of thought,it is recommended to “adhere to one-element guidance to safeguard the leading status of Marxism”,“persist in critical struggle to take a clear stand against the erroneous trend of thought”,and “insist on respecting and learning from each other to accommodate and absorb the beneficial elements of diverse trend of thought”.Aiming at the core topic of the construction of the leading power of socialist ideology in contemporary China,the dissertation tries to put forward some innovative viewpoints,which are mainly reflected in the following three aspects.First,the dissertation puts forward the innovative point of view on the connotation and constituent elements of “the leading power of socialist ideology”.Based on the clarification of the nature and connotation of the leading power of socialist ideology,it is defined as follows.Socialist ideology mobilizes the masses,leads the trend of thoughts and guides the practice through coordinating and optimizing its own constituent elements,thus achieving the goal of
