Influenced by the test-taking tendency,high school Chinese teaching is still confined to the understanding of superficial words and sentences and distracts from real-life situations.Meanwhile,fragmented questions and closed answers limit the development of students' thinking.The teaching philosophy of deep learning is helpful for solving the "shallow" problem of Chinese teaching in senior high schools,providing Chinese teachers with new ideas for implementing instructional strategies,and helping to reconstruct the disciplinary value of Chinese.The teaching of classical Chinese is the "high priority" of Chinese teaching in high school,which is also a problem of "boss difficulty".Therefore,classical Chinese should be an important area in the discussion of the reform of Chinese teaching in high school.The present study aims at improving the core literacy in Chinese with the help of deep learning theory.High school classical Chinese deep learning teaching is a teaching concept that aims to facilitate the inheritance of national culture and cultivate national spirit among high school students as well as promote their development of language aesthetics and thinking ability.This concept will be realized in a real context.Based on integrated classical Chinese works which can accelerate the development of high-level thinking of high school students,students will be involved in high-input,high-cognition and high-participation speech practice activities which focus on challenging learning themes.Three research questions are included in the process of exploring the instructional strategies of high school classical Chinese deep learning "What is the current situation of high school classical Chinese teaching" "What are the strategies of high school classical Chinese deep learning" and " How effective is the implementation of instructional strategies in high school classical Chinese deep learning ".To elicit answers to the three questions,the key competencies of classical Chinese selecting from the new high school Chinese curriculum standardis adopted as framework.Research methods such as questionnaire surveys,interviews and classroom observations are employed to analyze the current status of high school classical Chinese teaching in general schools.Case studies are conducted on the theme unit of “Selection of Life and Death”.The experimental classes are taught based on the theme unit of “Selection of Life and Death”.While traditional teaching is conducted in control classes on the basis of textbooks from People's Education Press.Test scores and interview data of experimental and control classes are collected and the effect will be demonstrated with quasi-experimental research methods.The instructional strategies of deep learning in high school classical Chinese is directed to the four dimensions of teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching activities and teaching evaluation.The design process of the theme unit " Selection of Life and Death " shows the design strategies of deep learning in high school classical Chinese,that is,"Advanced Content-Target Focus-Situation Use-Feedback Construction ".The "Selection of Life and Death" theme unit yielded good results,showing the implementation strategies of deep learning teaching in high school classical Chinese,that is,deep reading-progressive target-cognitive conflict-output inspection".The concept of High school classical Chinese deep learning embodies the essence of Chinese classroom reform.Meanwhile,the instructional strategies of high school classical Chinese deep learning can solve the shallow problem of teaching in high school classical Chinese.Based on the above,the research puts forward the following suggestions.It is necessary to carry out deep learning thematic training,in order to promote Chinese teachers' deep understanding of educational concepts;to strengthen the case development of classical Chinese within teaching and research group,so as to improve teachers' teaching design capabilities;to advocate teachers to implement deep learning instructional strategies,for the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of classical Chinese teaching.
