On Systematic Dialectics

System is a basic way for people to cognize and comprehend the world.The birth of modern systems science in the 20th century has not only been widely used in various disciplines and has become a transdiscipline science;it has also tremendously transformed the way of thinking,giving people a new perspective to observe the world.For materialism,the epochal discoveries in the domain of science provide condition to change form,enrich and develop itself.Dialectical materialism should draw scientific category basing on philosophical vision,so that philosophy can reflect the spirit of the times.Systematic dialectics is exactly the product of philosophical reflection on modern systems science.As a theoretical form during the process of materialist dialectics,the systematical dialectics has built a bridge between dialectical materialism and system science.The fifth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee declared five principles including“the systematic thinking" for the economic and social development of our country during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.Since the beginning of reform and opening up,China’s economic and social development has moved forward along the historical logic of"key breakthroughs-comprehensive development-systematic planning".The systematic thinking is essentially a method of using the connection view based on materialist dialectics to reveal the elements,structures and function of things as a whole.And also is the product of adapting the system tenets of Marxism to China specific realities,and it has become an important ideological methods and working methods of our party for a long time in governing the country.The systematic approach is a kind of enrichment and development for the systematic thought of dialectical materialism.For this purpose,we have to raise the system category to the philosophical level.Taking systematic dialectics as the research topic is not only a theoretical need but also a practical.For one thing,to promote the Philosophical morphology development of dialectical materialism.For another,also the practical need to implement the new development philosophy and build the new development pattern in the new development stage.This essay uses the research method of the unity of history and logic,the unity of criticism and construction,and the unity of theoretical demonstration and practical interpretation to sort out the ideological resources of systematic dialectics and conducted a holistic and comprehensive research on systematic dialectics from the three dimensions of theory,history and practice.Specifically,the main body of this paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the definition and interpretation of concept and content about systematic dialectics.Firstly,it condenses and sublimates the related concepts in systems science,and summarizes the essence of "system" on the philosophy,and builds the essential category.And it illuminates system dialectics from the perspective of"taoism,tactics and practice",making it clear that systematic dialectics is essentially a philosophy form,a thinking method and also a working method in practice.Lastly,this part further explicitly clarify the theoretical orientation and the boundary of systematic dialectics by exploring the relationship between systematic dialectics with materialist dialectics,systems science and systems philosophy.The second chapter comprehensively sorts out the resources of systematic dialectics from the perspective of intellectual history.We cannot study "professional" philosophy without the history of philosophy.Before the emergence of modern systematic philosophy,a large number of the germs of systematic thoughts have been bred in ancient Chinese philosophy and Western philosophy.This chapter focuses on sorting out the systematic thinking contained in Chinese and Western philosophy,and examining the evolution of Eastern and Western systematic thinking and its historical characteristics.At the same time,this chapter aims to study the representative ideological theories in the development history of modern systems philosophy,and also clarify which ideas the systematical dialectics has absorbed,which viewpoints has criticized.Ultimately to critically sublate and sublimate from the perspective of materialist dialectics.Therefore,we could deepen the ideological history of systematic dialectics.The third chapter reveals in depth the evolution of the historical form of Marxist philosophical materialist dialectics.Based on the Marxist theoretical system,excavate the systematic concepts and methods contained and embodied in dialectical materialism,and lay the foundation for the construction and interpretation of the theoretical system and methodology of systematic dialectics.Specafically,from the perspective of social organism theory,social structure theory,interaction theory,and historical synergy theory,from the perspective of Marx’ s historical dialectics,Lenin’ s cognitive d(?)ectics,and Mao Zedong’ s practical dialectics,the internal logic of the emergence of systematic dialectics in the new era is revealed,and the Marxist philosophical understanding of systematic dialectics is deepened.The fourth chapter discusses the theoretical form of systematic dialectics.Focused on the core question of "how to understand the essence of systematic dialectics",this chapter follows the definition of systematic dialectics,and elaborates systematic dialectics in detail from the three dimensions of philosophical form,thinking methods and working methods.The philosophical form of systematic dialectics emphasizes its fundamental method of transcending linear thinking methods and changing world outlooks;the thinking methods of systematic dialectics are mainly embodied in the strategic thinking,holistic thinking,structural thinking,collaborative thinking,and procedural thinking of cognitive dimensions.Accordingly,the working method of systematic dialectics are embodied in emphasizing overall planning and improving top-level design capabilities;adhering to the overall layout and improving the ability of system promotion;focusing on adjusting the structure and improving the ability of system analysis;ready to grasp the essence and improving the synergy of elements;paying attention to forward-looking thinking and improving the ability to analyze problems using the big historical view.The fifth chapter analyzes the experience of systematic dialectics in the history of the Communist Party of China.An important reason why the Party standing in the world for a century is that using systematic dialectics to analyze and solve problems,to cognize and change the world in its historical periods of revolution,construction and reform.During the period of the new-democratic revolution,Mao Zedong analyzed the conditions of new-democratic revolution with a clear systematic dialectical thinking,and found the correct revolutionary path.During the period of socialist revolution and construction,the lines and guidelines formulated to promote the sound operation of the national economy reflected the embryonic form of systematic dialectics.In the new era of reform and opening up and socialist modernization,the party’s understanding of materialist dialectics has gradually shifted from the original contradictory way of thinking to the philosophical paradigm of systematic dialectics during the process of combining the tenet of Marxism with China’s specific reality and exploring the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,Communist party of China pays more attention to making systematic strategic plans for the development of our country’s economy,politics,culture,society and ecology.The sixth chapter probes into the practical orientation of systematic dialectics.This chapter discusses the practical significance of systematic dialectics.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and the situation facing development has become more complex and volatile.Whether it is to solve the systemic contradictions and problems in the process of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,or to effectively resist the comprehensive risk bodies under major changes unseen in a century;whether it is the development of China and the times at present,or the development of the world and human beings,all of them highlight the practical value of systematic dialectics.Focused on the practice of the new development stage,discussing the guiding meaning of systematic dialectics in practice from the aspects of implementing the new development philosophy and building a new development pattern.
