| Mongolian ethnic group has a long history and rich cultural heritage.Folk literature not only plays an important role in the traditional Mongolian culture,but also enriches the traditional Mongolian culture with its unique cultural connotation.Legends are oral narrative works that describe historical events,historical figures,local historic sites,natural scenery and folk customs.They are created and spread by the labouring people in their production and life,and reflect the traditional culture of an ethnic group or a region.It is the reflection of human memory in a specific historical period and the realistic existence of a specific ethnic culture.Mongolian folklore is a very interesting and valuable part of Mongolian legend.It is formed in the historical process of people’s life,closely integrated with folk customs,and it is a story with ingenious understanding and explanation of its origin,development and change.Alcohol is an integral part of human material culture and occupies an important position in spiritual culture.Each ethnic group has its own alcohol culture and legends about alcohol.Mongolian liquor legend has been handed down in historical documents such as "The Secret History of Mongolia","Gold History Genghis khan","Gold History"," Loeb Tibetan History of Jin Huang Jin Dan ","The Origin of Mongolian","Crystal Beads" and "Crystal guide to the history of literature”,and now it is still associated with historical legends or local customs,and widely spread among the people.In the process of collecting,sorting the Mongolian liquor legends,the author found that the legends not only involve the origin of the liquor,taboos,drinking customs,also include the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of drinking,which have high cultural value,and closely link history,folklore,religion,ecology,medicine,geography and other disciplines.By collecting and comparing Mongolian legends about liquor,people can understand its profound cultural meaning and social value,which is of far-reaching significance to the study of ethnic culture.Liquor itself is a special symbol of folk culture.This paper takes the widely circulated tales of liquor theme as the research object,mainly uses the methods of narratology,type research and motif research of folk literature to analyze the narrative characteristics,types and motif of the liquor-themed legends circulating in Mongolia,and explores the life philosophy and cultural connotations reflected in the stories of liquor.This paper consists of introduction,main body,conclusion,appendix and references.The introduction part introduces the reason of topic selection,research overview,research purpose,research methods,research significance and so on.In the first chapter,the author mainly studies the legends of Mongolian liquor.There are more than 60 legends about Mongolian liquor,which involve sacrificial rites,deji rites,Sazha rites,bayan eulogizing and other folk customs.Most of these legends were spread in Xinjiang,Gansu,Qinghai and western regions such as Alxa and Ordos in Inner Mongolia,and relatively few in eastern Inner Mongolia.Therefore,through the investigation of the legend,the form of dissemination and dissemination benefit,the characteristics of the dissemination of liquor theme legend are explored.In the second chapter,the author mainly studies the types and origin of Mongolian liquor legends.So far,there is no type index of liquor legend at home and abroad.Therefore,the basic situation of the type is illustrated and the type index are sorted out according to the storyline of the legend.The author uses the motif research method to divide the motifs into background motifs,role motifs,plot motifs,and points out special motifs such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae motifs,wine-ware motifs,and liquor-making method motifs,and summarizes the characteristics of the motif,sorts out the motif index and attaches it to the back of the paper.In the third chapter,the author studies the legend of Mongolian liquor theme from the perspective of narratology.From the perspective of the narrative object,the protagonist,assistant,and opposite are described,and the narrative structure is analyzed from three aspects: time,space,and role,and the narrative characteristics are discussed from three aspects: the combination of deification and symbol,the combination of generalization and refinement,and the combination of concrete narration and abstract narration.The fourth chapter focuses on the cultural connotation of Mongolian liquor legend.Mongolian liquor culture has a long tradition,which condenses Mongolian politics,history,law,folk custom,religion,literature,art and other cultural factors.This part summarizes the theme by analyzing the origin,types,tastes and taboos of liquor,as well as drinking customs.The conclusion part summarizes the inheritance form,type,motif,narrative characteristics,cultural connotation and value of Mongolian liquor legend,and expounds the author’s point of view. |
