Study On Yu Xingwu’s New Certificate

Yu Xingwu is a great scholar in the field of modern language and writing research,Its research results mainly focus on the research and interpretation of Oracle Bone Inscriptions and bronze inscriptions and the new evidence of ancient books and records.This paper will classify some items in the new certificate of its ancient books and records.Yu Xingwu’s monograph "New Certificates" mainly includes two parts,namely,New Certificates of the Classic of the Double Sword and the New Certificates of the Scholars of the Double Sword.The New Proof of Double Sword Prophecy Group Classics consists of New Proof of Double Sword Prophecy Yijing,New Proof of Double Sword Prophecy Shangshu and New Proof of Double Sword Prophecy Book of Songs.The New Certificates of Scholars with Double Swords include 11 works such as New Certificates of Guanzi with Double Swords,New Certificates of Yanzi with Double Swords in Spring and Autumn,New Certificates of Mozi with Double Swords and New Certificates of Xunzi with Double Swords.In the new certificate,there are many examples of using unearthed bronze inscriptions and other ancient Chinese materials to revise pre-Qin classics and put forward new explanations.According to the different materials used,it is divided into three sections.Revising ancient books with inscriptions on bronze;Using Oracle Bone Inscriptions to revise ancient books;Revising ancient books by using unearthed objects.In the new certificate,the materials of ancient Chinese characters are mainly bronze inscriptions,and the contents are also rich.Next,the ancient books and records are revised by using the words with the same origin and differentiation in bronze inscriptions;Revise ancient books and periodicals by using the law of communication and leave embodied in bronze inscriptions;According to the inscriptions on bronze inscriptions,there are three parts to revise ancient books and records.The third chapter of this text: using ancient writing materials to revise ancient documents.Yu Xingwu followed the Qanjia School,be knowledgeable,be good at collating,and correct the mistakes in the old saying.Examples that are still unfinished are supplemented.And further put forward their own views.Make the original meaning clear.Among them,most of what Yu Xingwu said can be learned.Or right or wrong is hard to decide.It can also be a new creation.The author’s views on some books of various schools’ integrated proofreading and annotation are the same as those of Yu Xingwu,but they are not mentioned,which seems to be lost.This is also listed as a section.Of course,there are also businessmen,such as changing words without changing them,and the context does not match.Finally,the author occasionally gains some opinions on some of the new viewpoints.These constitute the third chapter of this paper,that is,revising ancient documents with traditional documents.They are:criticizing the Qing Confucianism for copying books or modifying the original text according to other books.Supplement the old theory;Put forward one’s own theory;The shortcomings in the new idea of philosophers;Lack of mention in saying;Put forward my own views on some new certificates.At the same time,with the increasing number of new materials,especially new bamboo and silk materials,many of Yu Xingwu’s views have been proved,and of course there are also people who are suspicious.Among them,there are many unearthed materials about the Book of Songs,Zhouyi,Shangshu and Laozi,so they all have a separate section,and all the philosophers have a separate section.These constitute the fifth chapter of this paper,that is,revising ancient documents with unearthed documents.The above three chapters are the two main parts of this paper.In addition,the first chapter introduces Yu Xingwu’s life and academic achievements,as well as the general changes in the version of "New Certificate".At the same time,explore the research methods and characteristics of Yu Xingwu’s new syndrome.The research methods include three aspects: the combination of unearthed materials and handed down literature research,the search for meaning according to the context and the comparison of sentences and examples.The research features include paying attention to the writing habits of ancient books in pre-Qin period,paying attention to the ancient meanings of ancient words preserved in ancient books,and explaining ancient words with today’s words.
