Research On Ethical Narration Of Family Novels Since The New Period Of Time

Since the new period of time,a large number of excellent family novels have emerged in the history of literature.This kind of novel with family as the main theme often describes the life of one or more families and the relationship between family members and takes this as the perspective point to reflect the characteristics of history and times with rich connotation.Based on the characteristics of Chinese ethic culture,the ethical problems of family novels constitute the motif characteristics of family novel narration.The generation of ethics is inevitably related to the development of history,society,and culture.Since the new period of time,Family novels focus on the social transformation period of Chinese modern and contemporary history,describing the ethical relationship within the family and between the family and the state in the process of social and historical changes,highlighting the tense relationship among individuals,families,and the state.It connects the conflict and contradiction between tradition and modern social culture.These complex factors are the reasons for the occurrence and entanglement of various ethical problems.Therefore,ethics has become the focus of family novels.This paper takes the ethical narration of family novels since the new period of time as the research object and intends to decode the bearing and evolution path of Chinese ethical and cultural quality in family novels from the perspective of Literary Ethics.The main issues discussed in this paper focus on three aspects: what is the ethical narration of family novels;How to present the ethical narrative content and artistic form of family novels;What is the value of ethical narration in family novels.Based on this,this paper is divided into six chapters to discuss the topic.Chapter one mainly summarizes the research object,relevant basic concepts,research methods,and research status.This chapter not only analyzes the basic concepts of family novels and their ethical attributes,but also combs the general situation of family novels since the new period,and further discusses the problems.Chapter two discusses the basic connotation of ethical narration in family novels from a theoretical perspective,and mainly analyzes the relationship between “Narrative Ethics” and “Ethical Narration”.“Ethical Narration” not only inherits the connotation of Chinese traditional literary theory but also embodies the characteristics of modern ethical criticism.On the one hand,it shows the ethical level of narration,which is related to various ethical relations and connotations in family novels.On the other hand,it also points to the Ethical Strategy of narration,especially the artistic expression of ethical narration.This part is the basic continuation of the problems discussed in the introduction,and it is also the theoretical basis of this paper.Chapters three to five are the main components of this paper.Through the text,this paper focuses on various ethical relations and their presentation in family novels since the new period.Chapter three mainly analyzes the ethical relations within the family in the family novels since the new era.By investigating the evolution of the ethical dimension of the father image,the new change of the cultural metaphor of the eldest son’s “historical intermediate”,the ethical motivation of the “traitor” leaving the family,and the awakening and rebellion of women’s ethical consciousness,this paper focuses on the analysis of the ethical relationship within the family and its changes,so as to present the overall style of the narrative of family ethical relationship in family novels since the new era.On the whole,under the dual regulations of traditional patriarchal ethics and modern enlightenment spirit,the ethical narrative of family novels in the new era has distinct characteristics of the times when presenting the relationship of family ethics.The traditional family system is bound to decline under the historical background of social transformation,but the excellent moral ethics contained in the family system is constantly evolving and transforming with the times.Chapter four turns the focus to the ethical relationship between family,individual and state in family novels.Starting from the ethical identity concept of “family and country integration” in traditional culture,this paper investigates the cultural logic of“family and country isomorphism” embodied in family novels since the new era,and analyzes the forms and characteristics of family novelists’ national ethics narrative from two aspects: isomorphic writing and misplaced expression of family and country ethics narrative.The isomorphic writing of family novels’ ethical narration of family and country is mainly reflected in the consistency of “family and country” in concept identification,theme and narrative direction.The misplaced expression explores the changes of family and country concept caused by social and cultural transformation from the aspects of personalized historical view,folk cultural position and writing theme,and shows the complex form of isomorphic relationship between family and country.Chapter five focuses on the ethical narrative mode and artistic representation of family novels since the new era.This is another issue to be discussed in the ethical narrative of family novels,the ethical narrative strategy.Examining the narrative mode and artistic representation of family novels from an ethical perspective,we can understand that the ethical narrative of family novels has the characteristics of broad historical framework and epic style,unique time philosophy and narrative rhythm,specific regional space and cultural Implications.Family novels realize their own artistic expression through these unique narrative forms and present the artistic charm of ethical narrative of family novels.Chapter six reflects on the ethical narration of family novels since the new era from the two dimensions of artistic value and practical value.From the perspective of artistic value,the ethical narration of family novels reflects its unique artistic value different from other types of novels with its diversity of narrative theme,openness of narrative perspective and realism of narrative style.In terms of practical value,the ethical narrative of family novels has distinctive characteristics of the times and locality,especially the extension of virtues such as upholding Chinese traditional excellent culture and respecting benevolence and etiquette in the ethical narrative,which forms a codirectional interactive relationship with the construction of current ideological values.With self-conscious and diversified ethical reflection,they actively participate in the construction of current national spirit,moral society and cultural spirit.On this basis,the conclusion reflects on the ethical narrative of family novels,and points out the limitations and suggestions of this paper.At the same time,it depicts a broader research space for the ethical narrative of family novels.
