| This article attempts to change the perspective of research to rediscover the value of genealogy from the perspective of the history of political thought.This article analyzes the main political vocabulary and its expressed concepts in 129 genealogical samples,and in this way,explores the performance of the country in genealogies,that is,how the country’s mainstream political ideas are expressed in rural grassroots society and how to participate in the construction of civil political order.Based on this,The analysis method of this article is to count the specific number and meaning of high-frequency political vocabulary or related deeds that appear in the genealogy,and dissecst the political concepts held by the rural grassroots society,And on this basis,analyze the characteristics and effects of national political thought expression.The compilation of genealogy is not only an important part of clan construction,but also an implicit text of political practice in local society.Behind it often reflects the construction of the country and Political integration.This article first discusses the direct appearance of the imperial edict representing the “state” in the genealogy.When the clan edited the genealogy,it was supported by the state decree,and its content consciously moved closer to the state decree and political power.Secondly,we have counted the frequency of political words in the preface,Family discipline or motto,personal biography,words school,official list,home school ancestral hall,and various charts that most likely directly reflect political ideas,and analyze the frequency of use and meaning,The political concepts of the grassroots society are summarized at the levels of “loyalty”,“nationality”,“court”,“litigation”,and“law-abiding”.In addition,the genealogy contains a large number of words such as“filial piety”,“ethical principles”,“sacrifice etiquette”,“study”,“harmony Clan”,etc.Although they are not direct expressions of political ideas,they can be mutually transformed between explicit political ideas such as “loyalty”,“hierarchical order”,and “official rank standard” between the family and the state.The integration of the countryside complements the dominant political concepts.This is also the integration of the state ’s mainstream political thought with the society.Thirdly,the genealogy will also show different political concepts due to different editing times and different types of politics to which the clan belongs.From the perspective of vertical history,the weight of “politicization” of genealogy content has gradually increased.From the horizontal perspective,the depth of clan involvement in politics has a positive correlation with the “politicization” of the genealogical content.Genealogy is a collection of social and national political ideas and concepts represented by clan,and has the dual attributes of “public” and “private” concepts.Official political thoughts use the folk “spontaneous” power and “endogenous authority” to attach to the language of the “self-family” of the genealogy,penetrates into the civil society in an invisible way,and “incarnate” as common sense of the people ’s life.It influences and shapes the political cognition of the people at the bottom,and then participates in the construction of the political order of the grassroots society.These political concepts are fragmented,familial,social,and symbolic because of the “state” using or parasitizing on the genealogy.In this way,the “family” represented by the genealogy“spontaneously” recognizes and absorbs the official political thoughts and symbols,thereby shaping the clan’s honor and strengthening the clan’s political legitimacy and legitimacy.The genealogy,while absorbing and recognizing the “state”,also ensures the background of “family” and “social”.The presence of the state does not cross the border to the social and cultural field connected by the family,and There is a symbiotic and interactive relationship between the state and society.This folk expression and practice of traditional political thought is the product of interaction between the state and society.With the help of genealogy and clan power,the state penetrated its concepts and power tentacles into the grassroots society.The clan turned into a national agent and shared the governance functions of the state,which reduced the control cost and pressure of the state,and also constituted an important part of the Centralized Minimalism model of the grassroots society.So as to achieve the country’s governance and control of the grassroots society.This also justifies the “small government and large society” model in the traditional Chinese political sense. |
