Research On The Influence Of Digital Economy On The Urban High-quality Economic Development

China’s economy has entered a "new normal" era which constantly transforms the economic rapid growth to high-quality development,which has also entered a critical period,reforming the economic growth mode,optimizing the industrial structure and seeking new growth drivers.In 2021,the CPC Central Committee makes important instructions at the Economic Work Conference,which reveals that China’s economic development faces the triple pressures of "demand contraction,supply shock and weakening expectations" at the present stage.The fundamental measure to solve these problems lies in exploring new driving forces for economic development.At the same time,the great development of new digital technologies,including 5G network,Internet of Things,blockchain and artificial intelligence,as well as the continuous emergence of new things under the network application,implies that the new scientific and technological revolution breaks out,and leads the global economy to a new digital era with intelligence,digitalization and modernization.Digital economy inputs in shareable and replicable information and technology high-end elements to create knowledge-intensive digital industries,and constantly gives rise to new industries,new forms of business and new models.It completely conforms to the demand of economic transition and is becoming a new driving force for urban economic growth.Standing in the new historical intersection era of digital economy booming,the transformation of economic growth mode and striving high-quality economic development,it is an inevitable requirement to straighten out the internal logic of digital economy development and grasp the key driving force of economic growth.Then,whether the digital economy and its refined indexs promote the highquality development of urban economy or not? What is the difference for refined indexs to economic development’s impact strength? What is the transmission mechanism? Whether exists a spatial effect? How about the heterogeneity? Is there a threshold effect? The core content of this paper is to answer the above problems.Therefore,based on these theories of technological innovation,spatial economics and economic growth,the paper adopts a variety of analytical methods,such as "combination of theory and demonstration","historical and comparative analysis" and "combination of induction and deduction".According to the research path of "proposing problems-analyzing problems-empirical testing-drawing conclusions-proposing suggestions",this paper analyzes the impact of digital economy on urban economic growth.To be specific,firstly,the research background,significance,related to concepts and theoretical basis,as well as the characteristics,content and its own economic effect of digital economy are analyzed theoretically.According to the necessity of development of digital economy,this paper analyzes the status quo and existing issues of China’s digital economy,including urban digital economy.Secondly,the correlation degree,between digital industrialization and industrial digitalization and economic growth is analyzed,adopting grey correlation analysis and grey correlation entropy value.Again,we make the empirical analysis of the digital economy on urban economic growth,in light of the analysis thought of "part-part-overall".Considering of the regulating mechanism of service industries agglomeration,the paper further analyzes the effect of industries digitalization to service industries agglomeration.Finally,it draws the conclusion and puts forward to some policy recommendations.The theoretical analysis part: Chapter 1 to chapter 4In chapter 1,we construct the research background and significance,and sort out the related to literature reviews for digital economy,referring to the study of digital industrialization,industrial digitalization,digital economy to economic growth,which establishes a foundation for the following analysis.The chapter 2further defines the concepts of digital economy,digital economy index system measurement,economic high-quality growth and innovation,summarizes the theories of technological innovation,spatial economics and economic growth.The chapter 3 reveals the development characteristics,content and economic effects of digital economy.The chapter 4 summarizes the necessity of the development of digital economy,and combines the status quo of digital economy,further reveals the existing issues.The empirical analysis: Chapter 5 to Chapter 8During this 4 chapters part,our core conclusion is that digital economy becomes the economic development momentum,and industry digitization has a greater penetration than digital industrialization.Digital economy,including its two refinement parts,not only promotes local economic growth,but also stimulate technical innovations and industrial structure optimization as the transmission mechanism,so as to realize the high-quality economy development.Digital economy and its detailed dimension all have significantly spatial spillover effect.It is a good way to narrow the gap among regions and to realize the coordinated development.To be specific:In chapter 5,the grey correlation analysis method is adopted to analyze the index’s correlation degree and entropy change value for digital industrialization,industrial digitalization to economic growth.The result is that the refinement parts of digital economy are closely related to economic growth,and industrial digitalization has a greater impact.Chapter 6 analyzes the effect of digital industrialization on urban economic growth.The conclusion is that the development of digital industrialization can significantly promote the economic development in local region,and also has a significant role in neighboring regions.Technological innovation,expanding market potential and promoting industrial agglomeration are intermediary transmission mechanisms,as well as industrial structure optimization as regulating mechanism.Chapter 7 is the analysis of industrial digitization to urban economic high-quality growth.The conclusion is that industry digitalization has become the main direction of digital economy development,which directly drives urban local economic growth,has spatial spillover effect and threshold effect,and service industry agglomeration can indirectly strengthen the role of digital economy as its threshold value.The transmission mechanisms are innovation,market potential and factor flow.The chapter 8 analyzes the influence of comprehensive digital economy on urban economic growth,comparing with the detailed indexes.The conclusion shows that digital economy has obvious spatial spillover effect and threshold effect,and has positive driving effect on local and neighboring cities’ economic development.Industrial digitalization can strengthen the role of digital economy,which is lagging.Digital industrialization and industrial digitalization both are the threshold values of digital economy,and the marginal effects are “digital economy >industrial digitalization > digital industrialization”.Chapter 9 draws the conclusions,policy recommendations and research prospects for this paper.Based on the above research content,combining with the research results,the following conclusions are summarized,refined and deepened,and we further put forward the targeted policy suggestions and the research prospects.Overall,the paper sorts out the related theoretical basis,referring to the digital economy and the economic growth,and empirically analyze the direct effect and spatial spillover effect of digital economy.It is concluded that we should strengthen the digital infrastructure construction,focus on the integration of digital technology and the real economy,and avoid some unreasonable phenomena,such as monopoly of digital platform and zero-sum game.The development of digital economy should be standardized,and then strengthen the role of digital economy in enabling urban economic development in the new era.
