international competitiveness of manufacturing industry for internal needs,that is important to achieve the stable growth and high-quality development of Chinese economy.Therefore,we should that the construction of a modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry is an important priority of Chinese governance,which is purpose to promote the creation of new development paradigm.The independent and complete manufacturing industry system has gradually formed at current stage in China,and the manufacturing industry scale has ranked first in the world,but the intelligent upgrade,value chain upgrade and structure upgrade of Chinese manufacturing industry are far behind developed countries.The modern information technology has made a great progress on the artificial intelligence,information network and big data in recent years,the digital economy is becoming an important driving force to achieve high-quality economic development,and to reshape industrial form.We should that manufacturing industry is the main battlefield for the digital economy to promote high-quality economic development.The digital economy has a huge impact in promoting intelligent upgrade,value chain upgrading and structure upgrading,which has a far-reaching influence on manufacturing industry and manufacturing sub-industry.Therefore,we should that this is an important strategic opportunity in quality and efficiency constructing of a modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,which is a great theoretical and practical significance under the background of manufacturing power strategy.Taking digital economy as a turning point,this thesis focuses on the core research topic that modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,constructing on evaluation index system through the theoretical analysis,and the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics such as regional differences,dynamic evolution,spatial convergence and coupling coordination degree are analyzed for the measurement of manufacturing modern industrial system.The theoretical basis of the construction of a modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry driven by the digital economy is technology-economic paradigm and digital economy paradigm.Then,the paper constructing a basic theoretical framework for a modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry driven by digital economy.Mechanism analysis has revealed that digital economy affects modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry through technological innovation,factor upgrading and demand reform.Further this paper empirically examines the mechanism of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry driven by digital economy based on 2008-2019 provincial panel data,and lay the foundation for construction the evaluation index system and measurement analysis of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry.The study in this paper found that: Firstly,digital economy has become an important driving force for modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,which is constantly infiltrating into the manufacturing industry through technological innovation,factor upgrading and demand reform.Secondly,the paper builds and on evaluation index system of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry.It was found that the construction level of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry shows a gradual increase.The intelligent upgrading,value chain upgrading and industrial structure upgrading are also a gradual increase.The modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry has a main problem about regional unbalanced development,This shows a distribution pattern of high in the east,low in the west and coastal is better than inland.Thirdly,the overall differences form modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry are decreasing,but there is a polarization phenomenon,with a low probability of mutual transformation between different grades and strong path-dependent characteristics.And eastern and central regions are on the rise,while western regions are decreasing.The differences between eastern central and western regions are significant and are the main reasons behind the overall differences.Fourthly,there is convergence properties of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,and the overall differences are decreasing.There is no σconvergence properties,showing the most obvious divergence characteristics in the central region,followed by the eastern region,and the lowest in the western region.In addition,the modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry has obvious characteristics of β absolute convergence and β conditional convergence,and the modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry will eventually tend to be steady-state levels.In the spatial effect perspective,the modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry convergence rate has been improved.Fifthly,based on the correlation and coupling between digital economy and modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,the results show that their correlations are between middle and very strong coupling,eastern regional correlations are also between middle and very strong coupling,but the central and western regions are a strong and very strong coupling.Finally,the degree of coupling and coordination is low between digital economy and modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,showing the characteristics of high-high clustering or low-low clustering,forming a coupled and coordinated spatial structure characterized by the eastern and southern coastal areas as the core and gradually weakening towards the peripheral zones.And the degree of coupling and coordination shows a trend of polarization and concentration in the northeast-southwest and northwest-southeast directions,and that is shifting to the western regions,and the spatial differences are gradually decreasing.The above research findings broaden the research horizon of the construction of a modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,and finally based on the conclusions of theoretical and empirical analysis,combined with the new requirements of manufacturing power strategy.We propose some policy implications of the construction of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry:Firstly,we should accelerate the integration of digital economy and manufacturing industry,and comprehensively consolidate the foundation for the construction of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry.Secondly,We should also strengthen the construction of new digital infrastructure,and enhance the resilience of construction of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry.Thirdly,we should Systematically reconstruct the digital science and technology innovation system and continuously stimulating the momentum of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry.Fourthly,we should also strengthen the cultivation of data elements and effectively strengthen the guarantee for the construction of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry through multi-party linkage.Finally,we need strengthen the linkage effect of the modern industrial system of manufacturing in the province and play the role of radiation of strong manufacturing province.All of them will help to better understand the external driving force for construction of modern industrial system in Chinese manufacturing industry,which is of great practical significance for the in-depth implementation of the manufacturing power strategy. |
