The neutron yield excitation function and the angular distribution of 15N(p,n)15O reaction neutron source was measured using the fast neutron Time-of-Flight (TOF) spectrometer and the HI-13 Tandem Accelerator at the China Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE) in this paper. The light output response and the efficiency of the liquid scintillation detector were simulated using The Monte Carlo method. The neutron yield excitation function of 15N(p,n)15O reaction at 0 degree was measured for 38 energy points in the energy range of 6.029MeV to 8.056MeV, the Monte Carlo method was used to correct the neutron flux attenuation caused by gas target and window foil. Experimental results show that there are three resonance peaks at the energy points of 5.82MeV,6.29MeV and 7.57MeV in the neutron yield excitation function of 15N(p,n)15O reaction. However, both the peak positions and the cross section results deviate with DROSG-2000 evaluated data and the PTB data. The angular distribution data at 15 Angles was measured for 15 energy points in the energy range of 6.029MeV to 8.056MeV using the fast neutron Time-of-Flight (TOF) spectrometer. The experimental results show that the angular distribution agrees with DROSG-2000 evaluated data and the PTB data in the trend. However, the value of cross sections deviate with DROSG-2000 evaluated data and the PTB data. The Monte Carlo method was used to correct the neutron flux attenuation caused by gas target and window foil.
