| The construction work of seismic monitoring networks in China mainland has been continuing for a long time,but still with a very slow progress due to the lack of money and immature technology. There is still not a practical and useful earthquake intensity brocasting system in mainland, which makes the emergency rescue department not know enough information about earthquake and a hardly decision on where to go and how to rescue. Furthermore, the rescue work will be seriously delayed even misleaded without the information.To solve the problem the author has been brought in and modified some key aspects of the U.S. ShakeMap system,which is popularly running in the United States and other countries,on the basis of deeply analysis and reaserch on it . ShakeMap used in conjunction with the actual situation of the digital region networks can make instrumental intensity map etc. in a few minitues after an earthquake, which can give some very useful information to the rescuer to make a decision. The content of this article has been summarized as follows:1. The ShakeMap is a set of maturing intensity brocasting system not only used in the United States but also around the world. The author wants to study on it from learning its third-party software and its manual, then to know its current application, operation process atc. Finally the results proves that the method is a very effective way to learn and understand the system.2. The author first describes the current application of ShakeMap system, which indicates that the ShakeMap system can really meet our needs, and then the system prducts delivering methods.Based on it ,the author gives its detailed flow chart in the article.3. The author describes the interpolation, site amplification and instrumental intensity calculation method of the ShakeMap system in detail on the basis of knowing the system well,and combines the ShakeMap with the unique geographic location and characters of Fujian Province and modifies or changes its ground motion attenuation relationship and its instrumental intensity calculation method. Only in this way the ShakeMap products can reflect the real shaking intensity.In the meanwhile, the author also introduces the recommend earthquake instrumental intensity scale and its calculation method in a report named Study On Earthquake Instrumental Intensity Standard and then apply it in the ShakeMap system.4. During the introduction,digestion and absorption of the ShakeMap system,the author met and solved some problems in its regional applications,such as operating environment,data format and tansformation problem,and the possible garble problems in Chinese localization with the ShakeMap products , and also gave the detailed solution in this article.And then the author tested and verified the results of the modified ShakeMap system with some real earthquake records. The results indicates that it is possible to use the ShakeMap system in Fujian Province.Finally, the article is summarized and the existing problem and the work plan for the next step is also given. |
