Research And Practice On Adaptive Display In Electronic Map Of National Boundary

Electronic map of national boundary symbolizes national dominion and standpoint which has serious polity, rigorous science and strict legal quality. However, the study of aiming at national boundary in electronic map is infrequency, especially the study of adaptive display in electronic map of national boundary. At present, the expression and study of electronic map of national boundary has existed several problems as follows: the project of multi-scale display is not scientific and rational; the adaptive users are single; third, the criterion of national boundary expression is bad; the national boundary symbol can not zoom adaptively. Aiming at the problems above, this paper introduced adaptive visualization into display in electronic map of national boundary, and made a systemic research for the partition of display scale, making certain the content and symbol design of adaptive display in electronic map of national boundary.1.By studying basic theory of adaptive display in electronic map, it put forward the study frame; the guiding function of cartographic theory on adaptive display in electronic map of national boundary was discussed; according to the users'character, the main touching off conditions in it were brought forward ,and the change in map display was analyzed.2. In order to keep the clarity and adaptive contents in map display during the course of map zoom, it researched the partition of display scale and making certain the content on adaptive display in electronic map of national boundary. The methods of calculating electronic map load and confirming key scale based on special point were brought forward in innovational. And it established multi-scale display model of electronic map of national boundary. Based on those results, it discussed the principle of classification, and established multi-scale display classification system of that.3. For the sake of standardization, beautification and humanness in electronic map of national boundary display, it studied the character, principle, content and method of map design under different touching off conditions. First, it put forward the method of realizing standard brushwork of national boundary in adaptive display; then, it probe d into the principle and methods of map design which were faced with color vision impaired; thereafter, it analyzed the effect of cultural difference for map symbol design.4. Based on SuperMap, it designed and made the electronic map of national boundary which was multi-scale and multi-style. The map was used in national boundary GIS of network, whose effect was better.
