Development Of The Test System

This project devised and built a special test system for the HES of HXMT by modularization. HES test system is composed by three function mudules which are Telemetry and Remote Control, Analogue Satellite Platform Data Communication Connector and Analogue Main Detector, and Application Software on computer. Theories and implementation methods for each module are analysesed in this paper.This paper consists four parts. Firstly, the author introduced the background, objective and significance for this system. Additionally, the relation between this system and other parts of the HXMT as well as internal structure of HES is embodied. Furthermore, the author makes an integrated design for it based on the function requirements. Finally, the measurements and tests are offered in this paper.The paper stresses the occurrence principle and properties of the signal from the phoswich detector. Thereby, the author provides a proposal for the design of the analogue main detector.
