Marine reef, as special lithologic reservoir, is very important in the oil and gas exploration. But it is difficult to recognize because it's very complex and the geologic bodies such as buried mountain and igneous rock are similar in the section.A series of research expresses that using seismologic means is effective in recognizing the reef. In this paper, we briefly introduced the basics of the reef and the general situation of the B zone in AMH basin, and carry out fine structure interpretation of four reflection layers in the zone according to calibration, which provides help to the following inversion. Creating typical model of the reef theory pattern and carrying out forward modeling based on wave equation finite difference method deepens the understanding of the seismic response of the reef in the zone. Take the marine reef as the study, By establishing the concept model using the seismic, logs and drilling information comprehensively and analyzing the influence of onlap changes on the target layers and the influence of dominant frequency seismic wavelet changes and reservoir changes on target imaging, we create the reef model in the area by associating the inversion section, carry out numerical simulation and post-stack reverse-time migration and analyze characters of wave field, which makes me deeply understand the key features of reef, such as moundy and lenticular shape, velocity anomaly and its effect, flat bottom, arch top, establish the basic boundary seismic response of the reef such as scatter or blank reflection inside and horizontal unequal distribution of energy and phase reversal. The interpretation is proved advisable by the model and this understanding provides the theory support to the recognition of the reef reservoir andThrough attribute extraction as well as the optimized analysis, to the marine reef, the sensitive attributes to lithological character and lithofacies such as time difference attribute, profile cluster attribute, root-mean-square amplitude, instantaneous frequency, instantaneous phase, coherent body slice, wave impedance, and so on, are determined, and the organic reef mop is forecasted.The seismic recognition pattern of marine reef is established by researching the response character and distribute regular pattern of marine reef, which provides the theory direction and technical support for the oil exploration and on the other hand helps us research and recognize some similar reef reservoirs in the area to a certain degree.
