Science And Technology In Humane Visual Field

This paper explores the consistency between science and technology and the humanities through the study of the relationships between the humanities and science, humanistic care and science and technology, human spirit and scientific spirit. Basing theory on history, the author tries to analyze the root of the antagonism between the western humanism and science and technology and to explore the foundation and ways of unite science and technology with humanistic care.The paper includes three parts: Part one raises the question, and put forward the western solution to the relation between science and technology and humanism by going back through western history of science and technology criticism. Part two explores the cause of the two types of culture and the two types of science turning on parrel roads since modern times and the contemporary dilemma caused by the development of science and technology and ways to its solution-through historical reflection on the relation between science and technology and humanism. The last part puts forward 'double stressing' on developing science and technology and upholding humanism.
