Studies On The Irradiation-Prevention Function Of Yang Tai Tai Powder (YTTP)

In this paper, we studied on the irradiation-prevention function of Yang-Tai Tai powder(YTTP) and developed the compound of YTTP with Polysaccharides of Ganoderma Lucidum (PGL) ,which has the function of irradiation prevention. Indeed, we did some researches on it, including evaluation of security, and mechanism of irradiation prevention. The results of research are summed up as following.The content of polypeptide of compound determined by Folin- Phenol method was about 8.50%. The content of polysaccharides of compound determined by Spectrophotometric method is about 13.34% . The results indicated that both content of polypeptide and polysaccharides are stable(P>0.05).The compound has the function of irradiation prevention. After fed by the compound low dosage(200mg/kg.d), medium dosage(400 mg/kg.d), and high dosage (800mg/kg.d) , the survival times of mice irradiated lethally by 8GY ^Co- Y - ray were prolonged notably(P<0.01 or PO.05), which correlated with the dosage of the compound . Micronuleus of polychromatic erythrocytes in the mice bone marraw were decreased notably(P<0.01).Fed by the compound , the white blood cells(WBC) of mice irradiated sublethally by 5GY ^Co-Y- ray were increased notably(P<0.01 or PO.05). The compound had no influence on red blood cell(RBC), hemoglobin(HGB), and blood platelet(PLT).Yang Tai Tai Powder (YTTP) and Polysaccharides of Ganoderma Lucidum (PGL) have co-operation effect on function of irradiation prevention. After fed by the compound (400mg/kg.d), YTTP(215 mg/kg.d) and PGL( 184mg/kg.d), the survival times of mice irradiated lethally by 8GY ^Co- Y - ray were prolonged notab!y(P<0.01 or P<0.05), and the micronuclei rat of PCE was decreased notably (PO.01).compared with function of the compound , the survival times of mice fed by YTTP or PGL was shorter(P<0.05), and the Micronuleus of polychromatic erythrocytes were much less(.P<0.01 or P<0.05). Fed by PGL, the white blood cells(WBC) of mice irradiated sublethally by 5GY ^Co- Y - ray had no changes. WBC of mice fed by YTTC or YTTP, however, had notable changes(P<0.01), which could prompt the recover of WBC damaged by irradiation of 60Co- Y - ray.The LD50 of the compound by the rate and mice was more than 10.00g/kg.d. The result of rat experiment of 30 days feeding shows that the compound has no bad effect on its growth, development ,blood and pathology.In a word, YTTP has the definite function of irradiation-prevention. The compound consisted with YTTP and PGL has notable function of irradiation -prevention, when it's content of polypeptides is > 8.50% and content of polysaccharides is > 13.34%. The function appears that YTTC can prolong the survival time of mice, decrease the micronuleus of PCE the mice bone marraw, and promote the recover of WBC damaged by 60Co- Y ray.Meanwhile, The compound is save for development.The security of the compound testified that the direction for producing the compound YTTP with PGL is reasonable.
