In this paper, the optimum technique and reliability design are connected together to bring up the method of reliability and optimization design of the gear change mechanism. According to this way, products designed that not only may educe measurable reliability of running, but also can acquire optimum result of the function parameters.In this dissertation, typical reliability and optimization subjects of the pivotal parts of type ZK-150 drilling machine are studied systematically. After canvassing the basic theories and methods of reliability and optimization design of the transmission system, analyze the designs of the V-belt transmission, arc cone gear and disk spring separately. It is propitious to raise efficiency, improve capability, increase reliability, and decrease cost and so on .Through the research on the reducer reliability and optimization design, the design quality of the drilling machine are improved greatly. It is proved that the type ZK-150 drilling machine capability is advanced and operation is reliable by examine and industrial test in coal mine. Another advanced equipment provided to users has wide application foreground.
