Traditional Decision Support System is based on model base and knowledge base, and building knowledge base is depended on experience offered by specialist in certain field, so acquiring knowledge was difficult, which limited the ability of the system. Spatial data mining technology offers valuable means for discovering knowledge in environmental database. This paper does research on spatial data mining technology applied in environment regulation, and on technology integrated spatial data mining and spatial decision support system. The integrated model for environment regulation spatial decision support system based on spatial data mining was established; Spatial data mining intelligent engine was designed, which can choose algorithms intelligently in data mining. Environment database, knowledge data base and model base were designed , which is based on the characteristic of environment datum in Fujian coast. At last, the author developed a prototype. In this paper, the main progresses were as follows:1. A model of Spatial Decision Support System based on spatial data mining was established after making research on application and integration of spatial data mining, '3S' technology and environment model,which include designing of data base, knowledge base , model base and their management system, inference engine and intelligent data mining engine;2. A model using artificial neural networks to forecast in coast environment in Fujian was established, and a method applying multivariate decision tree to remote sensing classification was presented;3. A novel and shortcut method realizing artificial neural networks was presented, and then we put forward method realizing decision tree and realized it in prototype.The research on how to choose appropriate algorithms in applying known and excellent algorithms to mine data in vast, complex and integrative environment datum was made, and intelligent data mining engine was4. designed, which can choose algorithms intelligently in data mining, and method realizing it was presented;5. Prototype environment regulation decision support system in Fujian coast has been devised and been realized, which was based on research above and environmental characteristics in Fujian coast.
