Value Of The Vegetation Ecosystem Services In The QinBa Mountains Of Shaanxi

Ecosystem services imply the natural environmental conditions and their effectiveness formed and sustained by ecosystems and ecological processes, on which, human life relies for existence. They not only supply human with the production of ecosystem goods, such as food, forage, timber, fuel, natural fiber and Pharmaceuticals, but also perform fundamental life-support services, which include the purification of air and water, detoxification and decomposition of wastes, regulation of climate, regeneration of soil fertility, production and maintenance of biodiversity, and mitigation of floods, droughts, and wind and water erosions. It is recognized that ecosystem services are essential to civilization. In recent years, people pay more and more attentions on the research of ecosystem services, and ecologists and economists discuss in succession the connotations and the valuation methods of ecosystem services, which have become the frontier's topics in ecology and ecological economics.Based on the characteristic of eco-environment in QinBa of Shaanxi ,according to difference of the vegetation type and the rate of coverage in QinbBa, combined the advance of new research ,the paper practices the theory and methods on the value of the vegetations ecosystem services , establishes the Bata Base of vegetation ecosystem , GIS and vegetation eco-account. By determining vegetation productions and eco-adjusted mass, taking advantage of the theory and methods on ecology-economics, the paper researches the value of the vegetation ecosystem services.The result shows : â‘ The value of Land-vegetation's primary productivity is 196.6 billion RMB/a; The value of Vegetation's Soil and Fertilization Conservation is 22.64 billion RMB/a; The value of vegetation water conservation is 22.66 billion RMB/a; The value of fixing CO2 and releasing O2 is 352.24 billion RMB/a and 374.19 billion RMB/a.â‘¡ The paper establishes vegetation eco-account in Qinba Mountains. The total area of Qinba Mountains is 8708971.15hm2,which value of vegetation ecosystem services is 968.33 billion RMB/a,3.3 than that of GDP in this researched Area.Land-vegetation's primary productivity accounts for 67.12%; vegetation water conservation accounts for 7.73%; Vegetation's Soil and Fertilization Conservation accounts for 7.74%; fixing CO2 and releasing 02 is 2.48 than this GDP.â‘¢According to the mass , Land-vegetation's primary productivity accounts for 2.18%; vegetation water conservation accounts for 89.21%; Vegetation's Soil and Fertilization Conservation accounts for 2.42%; fixing CO2 and releasing O2 accounts for 6.18%;From seeing the valuation, Land-vegetation's primary productivity accounts for 20.3%; vegetation water conservation accounts for 2.3%; Vegetation's Soil and Fertilization Conservation accounts for 2.3%; fixing CO2 and releasing O2 accounts for 75%.In conclusion , vegetation water conservation is the most important function in the vegetation ecosystem services.â‘£The rate of contribution on the vegetations is most different, the temperate deciduous broadleaved forest is tallest ,account for 29.3%; Compared to the direct benefits of forest ecosystem, indirect benefits are more important for the survival of human being.
