Deployment dynamics analysis of space deployable truss has been studied systematically in this paper, and a computer program has been designed for deployment dynamics simulation.In the first, research, development and application of space deployable structure abroad and domestic are introduced in this paper; the type of space deployable truss investigated in this paper is illustrated. Both the research status and the application in space deployable structure of multi-body system dynamics is commented in detail.According to the space deployable truss' structure specialties, two dynamics models are accomplished with Lagrange's equation of the second kind and Kane's method, and the two models are completely same, in that case system dynamics model is validated correct.In this paper, how to solve the system dynamics model is studied, and efficient numerical algorithm is put forward.According to the system's dynamics model and efficient algorithmaforementioned, dynamics simulation software is developed with Visual C++ 6.0. In the Last, truss's deployment process is studied by several simulation examples, and some design parameters' effect on deployment is analyzed.
