The diffract optical filters are important to practical optical system presently. Many functions that are difficult to realize for traditional optical elements can be achieved by using these filters. Therefore, they have attracted a great deal of interest in the world. In this dissertation, a new design method of diffract optical filters has been presented. Beyond the traditional fabrication, the holography is employed in this method. Through the interference of two or even more beams, complicated fringes are obtained, and the regular distribution of diffractive waves is realized. According to low-cost massive production of diffract optical elements this research is of important practical value for design and fabrication. An optimization program based on SA is compiled to design beam-dividing device. The best fitting parameters are found by annealing program. The pattern of far-distance diffracted field is simulated by another program, which verifies the possibility of fabrication with holographic interference method. The optimization results are analyzed in the single condition and multiple conditions versus the changes of some parameters. Meanwhile the natural limit of holographic interference is discussed, and some possible ways to solve or weaken these defects that resulted from the limit are presented. In addition, we study the surface differences between multi-beaninterference grating and ordinary hologram grating, and the optical effects derived from the surface changes.
