In this page, using four kinds of algaes: Chlamydomonas sajiao Lewin, Scenedesmus oblique, Microcystis aeruginosa and Spinilina platensis as the materials, the author studied the influence of phophorus deficiency stress on alkalescence phophatase. The results show that the alkalescence phophatase significantly changed in the cell of Chlamydomonas sajiao Lewin, Scenedesmus oblique and Microcystis aeruginosa under phophorus deficiency stress in comparison with that under normal growth condition. And the three algaes have analogous situations in the changes of alkalescence phophatase activity. The activity of the alkalescence phophatase rose on the second day under phophorus deficiency stress, and reached its maxim activity on the seventh day. Although on the twelfth day, the activity of the enzyme drops a little, its activity was still higher than that of the second day.By means of PAGE, the regulation of the activity of algal alkalascence phosphatase was studied. The results show that in algal cells, there were two isoenzymes of the alkalescence phophatase: band I and band II isoenzyme. The band II isoenzyme exists even in normal growth condition and its amount increased a lotunder phophorus deficiency stress. However the band I isoenzyme seldom exists in normal condition, and its amount greatly increased under the phosphorus deficiency stress. The changes of band I and band II isoenzyme have some differences depend on the species of the algae. The results suggest that there might exist an activity regulation of the band II isoenzyme ,which is unknown now, contributes to the isoenzyme activity increase. The author thinks that both the increase in amount of the isoenzyme and the unknown activity regulation of the band II isoenzyme contribute to the activity increase of the the alkalascence phosphate isoenzyme under phosphorus deficiency stress in algaes. |
