For the high cost of offshore oil/gas platforms, complicated and changeful maritime environment and flammable, explosive oil/gas medium, it is certain to lead to catastrophic casualty and tremendous property loss once the accidents happen to the platforms. Thus, people are paying more and more attention to the risk analysis and risk management in the offshore oil field. The risks in the process of platform construction/alteration and maintenance are more serious than the normal platforms. However, the experience and methods which can be used for reference are very rare to analyze the process risks. At the same time, the owners and contractors hope to acquire the quantitative conclusions for the risk status. To tackle with the recognized problem, the author consults lots of references home and aboard and investigates the data of high-risk industry. On the basis of these, the author makes an adventurous exploration for a relative quantitative risk analysis method through the analysis of practical risk analysis project, then put forward a series of analysis methods. That is to say, using relative risk exponent method to sort order by exponents, then apply to DOW Fire and Explosive Exponent Method aiming to the medium particularity and make the best of the Fuzzy General Assessment to analyze the fuzzy of process risks. These analyses come to a satisfied result.
