Due to its new theory, concepts, methods, high accuracy and predictability, high-resolution sequence stratigraphy having been extensively applied to oil exploration and exploitation and got prominent practicable results. Domestic and international research findings indicate that this theory is more suitable than the classical theory which was founded by PR. Vail in sequence stratigraphy analysis of oil and gas basin. In oil exploration and exploitation engineering, it has extensive and applied foreground. This text takes 1-3 sand beds developed in member two of shahejie formation from No. 1 area in shengtuo oil field as an example, on the basis of a comprehensive study of core, log data, analyse the application of high-resolution sequence stratigraphy in reservoir study. On the basis of establishing a model to reflect the relation of well-logging facies with corresponding sedimentary facies, analyse the sedimentary facies of research area in detail. From the results ,we considered that most of the reaearch area belong to the deposit of delta plain, minority belong to delta front. And there are three parfacies--delta plain, delta front and prodelta and eleven microfacies which aredistributary channel, channel bar , marginal bank (point bar) and so on. The text also discuss the sedimentary characteristic and cross section structure of every microfacies. On the basis of detailed facies division and depositional array, taking the theory of high-resolution sequence stratigraphy as a direction, the text divides 1 -3 sand beds into one middle-term , five short-term and fourteen-sixteen supershort-term base level cycle sequences. And discuss the structure types, depositional array and stacking pattern of the three orders of cycle sequences. On the basis of these studies, high degree of accuracy of time distinguishability and isochronous stratigraphy framework is established. And directing the sands into these isochronous stratigraphy framework, making isochronous tracing correlation. From these studies, apply the rate which stand drill to meet and densitometric method of sand as synthetical evaluating indicator, make describing and quantitative assessment of connectivity and the form characteristic for the sands in every layer. On the basis of sand dividing and isochronous tracing correlation which is making in supershort-term cycle sequence, choose two layers of 11 and 35 as units to make isopach map of sand and isochronous depositional microfacies map in short time and big scale. Comparison with the same work which was made by predecessor, the precision and degree of reliability of these maps is outstanding. From analysis these maps, the text detailed describes the geometric shape, distribution characteristic and growth scale of the variant sands. From the work of later dividing and isochronous tracing correlation of sands, analyse the structure of reservoir, the results display that there are two kinds of structure of reservoir in this area: the major is platelike synthesis and the minor is maze in form. Apply the synthetical analysis of the theory of high-resolution sequence stratigraphy and sedimentary dynamic, analyse the type. Growth scale and the contribution to exploitation of barrier of infiltration flow of the reservoir of platelike synthesis.
