The Study Of Application Development Platform Based On 3S

This paper gives a brief introduction on origin, development, and application prospect of 3S, advances a new thought of design and achievement project of secondary development platform based on 3S, and proves its validity and practicality by experiment. This paper gives a detail introduction on how to select GPS module and GSM module,analyse GPS protocol and GSM short message protocol ,design mobile hardware circuit and software system. This paper achieves with software part of function of hardware circuit, so the cost is decreased. This paper also presents the structure of short message gateway of background system, the way of designing database of short message gateway and the realization of GIS module. Mobile terminal includes GPS module,GSM short message module,singlechip system and corresponding interfaces of sensor, and the background part conbines GIS and DBMS, and GSM message is its data bypass,and thus space data, operation data and electronical map combines. Based on the analyse of system performance, this paper advances the project that adopts GPRS and 32-bit ARM processor with embedded real-time Mac OS, and gives an anlyse of its merit and feasibility.
