The collection technique of high-resolution seismic data and aimed exploring area in the Project Sikou is described in the paper.At first, some precursor research is introduced. The problems of seismic gather designing in traditional seismic prospecting are analyzed in detail by studying the old data and old survey system in the same project. And then, the technique of seismic gather is discussed in emphases. Many techniques are described in detail; such as the designing technique of gather parameters in field for demonstrating gather parameters based on physical model, the analyzing technique of survey attributes based on the designing of numerical value model, and the forward model technique for making synthesized seismic record based on the model of underground media. And the best survey system is ascertained, by considering synthetically above techniques and the geology tasks. And also the field gather of aimed exploring area is designed. After that, the field gather technique is researched. The parameters of gathering and receiving in the field are determined by investigating the surface layer structure, designing the best explosive complication, and selecting the best receiving mode. Next, the seismic data is analyzed to validate if my designing method achieves the requirements of the exploring deployment after the field production. At last, the designing method of the new seismic data of field is estimated.The method in my paper is different from traditional method of the gather designing of seismic data. And the differences are as follows: First, a perfect full 3D gather technique of the integrated design and demonstration of seismic data is created. Such as, o ptimizing the p arameters o f a survey sy stem, analyzing synthetically t he performance of a survey system. And the method of demonstrating the technique of seismic exploring gather adapts the demonstration of the gather parameters in different projects, different surface layers and different underground geology tradition. Second, in my paper, some new methods are adopted. For example, the area of lower S/N rate ascertained by the old data in the same area, the fold increased on purpose in the aimed exploring area, the old survey system changed by the depth of the exploring destination layers, and a variational survey system used. Third, a seismic gather method of an azimuth angle distributed on an equality with an offset is created, etc.The methods suggested in my paper were now applied in the seismic gathering of the Project Sikou. And the results of the gathering in the Project Sikou were appraised.
