Hybrid-source electromagnetics is an effective method for Geo-Exploration, especially for seeking underground water in drought area. And now the method is applied more and more. The existing hybrid-source electromagnetic instruments all adopt DOS operating system as the top management system basically, Comparing it with in Windows operating system, it has some shortcomings such as operating complicatedly, order hard to remember, unfriendly human-computer interaction. With the development and application of modern electronic technology and computer technology, the revolutionary change has take place with the field of electronic measuring instrument and automatic test. Especially the innovative products of NI Company, Figure programming environment LabVIEW appears, and the thought of " Virtual Instrument" has been accepted by industrial circle. "Software is instrument" Have portrayed the characteristic of the instrument in essence. This thesis discusses especially the whole design scheme and realization of the hybrid-source electromagnetic receiver base on LabVIEW , and provide the open-air experimental result. The thesis first expounds the theory of hybrid-source electromagnetics exploration, analyses and summarizes domestic and international development actuality and design features of the same type instruments. And the whole design scheme of the portable receiver for fieldwork is given out. The thesis especially introduces the design of data acquisition hardware and the realization of application program. The thesis includes 6 chapters:Chapter 1 introduces the background and significance of research task, summarizes domestic and international developing actuality and design features of the same type instruments, and discusses the theory of hybrid-source electromagnetics exploration. Introduces the concept, composing, characteristic and international state of development.Chapter 2 introduces the mechanism of hybrid-source electromagnetic receiver. Provide the whole design scheme of receiver, index that it is expected and some technology questions. Chapter 3 especially discusses the design and realization of the high-speed and high-accuracy data acquisition system, including prepositive analog regulative circuit, clock control circuit and side-by-side AD control. Discuss how to establish DLL file for LabVIEW and the process of DLL called by LabVIEW. Chapter 4 introduces the construction and design of the hybrid-source electromagnetic receiver application program. More especially introduces synthetically applications of LabVIEW and VC++. Combining author's programming practice, author indicates the Precautions of creating and calling DLL. Introduces the construction and realization of the real-time processing system base on LabVIEW. Utilize Portable computer advantage of high speed dealing with data, to realize real-time processing and real-time display. Chapter 5 discusses performance instead and data processing of the receiver in the field. Contrast to foreign instrument, and provide result and analyses in the field.Chapter 6 summarizes the research work and conclusions of the thesis. The shortages of the design and corresponding suggestions for future work are also described.
