The Yingjishu - Luobupo area which is a Mesozoic sag developing on a Paleozoic structural base lies in the eastern part of Tarim Basin. This area is still in a developing stage. There were 6 exploratory wells before 2001, but no breakthrough. However, Ying Nan-2 well got the industrial oil and gas flow in Jurassic in 2001 saw a good sign of petroleum in Jurassic and Silurian. These wells show an excellent exploration prospect of the Yingjishu - Luobupo area, even the whole eastern part of Tarim Basin.Through the combination of Geology, Reserve and comprehensive evaluation, this paper analyses the Mesozoic reservoir-sealing assembly, the source rocks, the structural character and the key factors of the trap formation in this area. It first explains the formation of Yingnan - 2 reservoir. It further points out some bright exploration projects, such as Yingnan, Yingdong, Weimake and Luonan, and next available targets -Yingdong 1 structure and Weima - 2 structure.
