Under the guidance of new principles and methods of modern Sedimentology, Detrital Petrography, Reservoir Geology, Diagenesis, this thesis has taken Neogene Jidike Formation as a whole to anatomize for the first time and carried out detailed study on formation correlation, sedimentary environments, characteristics on sedimentary facies and diagenesis of the Kuche depression, Tarim Basin. Based on the core, geology logging, log and seismic data from more than 20 typical wells, combined with the data of the adjoining area, the dominant sedimentary types of Jidike Formation in the study area have been recognized and illustrated, such as fan-delta, lacus and normal delta. In terms of the analysis on the sedimentary facies of typical and connecting wells in different areas and facies belt, together with the Neogene tectonic evolution characteristics of foreland basin, the distribution and evolution of the sedimentary facies of the study area have been clearly discovered both vertically and laterally. Meanwhile, studies on diageneses and characteristics of reservoirs have also been carried out. And according to the analysis on the controlling factors of reservoirs, prediction of favorable reservoirs has been produced. Therefore, more scientific and direct geologic evidences will be on present during the course of further exploration for Oil-gas Pools with great reserves and production and favorable targets in Jidike Formation, Kuche Depression.
