The Application Of Geographic Information System In Telecommunication Data Manage System Based On MapInfo

GIS (Geographic Information System) is a kind of spatial information system to collect, store, manage, analyses and describe spatial data, simultaneously, GIS is a sort of technology to improve graphical performance of management system. Because Telecommunication System shows strong character of geography, applying the technology of GIS in Telecommunication System can improve the visualization and efficiency of the management greatly.In this paper, on the basis of object-oriented analysis, the author presents a efficient approach of developing large scale of GIS software on Maplnfo just by using MapBasic program. The MapBasic software is composed of independent MapBasic application and is integrated with a controlling MapBasic application. These MapBasic applications communicate with each other by sharing an identical Maplnfo map window and maintain synchronization by automatically reacting to same events in turn. The author proposes a model of telecommunication pipe emphatically. It is one of the most important models in the system. The pipe application has functions of showing graph, operating graph, searching information, showing current data.
