The automatic identification, tracking and forecasting of storms Based on the volume scan data of Doppler Weather Radar, is the principal mask of the Doppler weather Radar as surveillance facility of meso-scale and micro-scale disaster weather system. The paper introduces the meteorological feather of storms, the general feather and development environment condition of convective cell, radar echo character of the severe storm weather, point out the evidence of storm serial algorithm. Refer out the technology of WSR-88D, this algorithm is consisted storm cell center identify, severe centre tracking and cross correlation tracking, position-forecasting are base on linear extrapolation of storm tracking, direct-airflow and curve imitate. The threshold of storm cell is established on the meteorology model, observation instance and some reference. User can replace the parameter value according on the local weather feather. This paper point out that as the resolution decline with the distance between RAD and reflectivity body, the threshold should change with the distance. When tacking and forecasting, it is auxiliary that regard the product of VAD or medium-little measure numerical forecast's wind field as direct airflow.We designed the algorithm with Visual C++6.0 advanced program language on windows 2000 or windows XP operating system. The Dynamic Linked Library as the style of algorithm models. In the radar software .Base on identify, track and forecast of storm probability, at one time, we designed the a serial storm products, name is Hail Index, Outflow Boundary, Down burst, Tornado Vortex Signal, Squall Line.
