Build A Learning Scientific Community With Organization Learning Theory

The sociological discussion of scientific community has been done for a long time. But the narrow view makes it harder to discuss this problem. In fact, the inner logic of science needs us to use a muti-method way during our study. The traditional sociological discussion made us concern so much about the so-called scientist psychological characters and their social roles that we have ignored the self-development of scientist and the organizational building of scientific community which as a part of social organizational system. This article tries to introduce organization learning theories to the discussion of scientific community and prove the theoretical significance of building learning scientific community for re-build the learning ability of scientist and our R and D system.The first part of this article firstly argued the histological meaning scientific community. Then reasoned a logic demonstrate of the building scientific community through its necessity and feasibility argumentation. And the author also discussed the relationships between promoting the learning ability of the organization and the system innovation of scientific community.The second part of this article discussed the basic building framework of building learning scientific community. Base on the introduction of organization learning theories and its models, the author analyzed the impediment factors that could affect the organization improving its learning ability and expatiated the basic principles we should obey.The third part of this article expatiated the idiographic methods of building scientific community through seven parts: set up a Shared Vision: dedicate to science, improving mental models: promoting the change of learning , team learning: innovate the cooperate system in science research , Personal Mastery: pay more attention to the created tension, The systematic consideration: plan the learning organization holistic, a thallus organization structure and a dynamic building.Generally speaking, this article tried to discuss the promotion of organizational structure and the improvement of learning ability. The solve ofthis topic would be taken into the framework the systemic view which hold a holistic world view.
