Newly landscape ecology has become a hot research topic of resource, environment, ecology and related disciplines since 1980s, which attracts many ecologists and geographers. Sustainable land use is always the hot research topic under the guide of landscape ecology and 3S technology. In this paper, based on these theories and approaches, we make researches on the landscape pattern succession characteristics of Liaohe delta, its diver force and effects in the recent 30 years, which will offer references to study on region sustainable land use. The paper adopts many advanced technologies such as mask technology, image enhance based on the wave spectrum characteristics of things, density slice, filtering and so on, to design the landscape classification system for getting the Geo-information TUPU quickly. Landscape pattern index is a quantitative method, which is widely used in landscape ecology research. In this thesis, we use Fragstats software to calculate eleven indices including fractal dimension, SHDE and C index. Except that, the Change Detection tool is used to analysize the landscape dynamic succession of Liaohe delta, then we predict the changes of landscape pattern using Markov chain model. Through analyzing the nine remote sensing images of study area, including four periods of time since 1976, we draw the conclusions below. (1) Rapid Geo-information TUPU getting technology facilitates to research the landscape pattern in a large scale. It is a convenient and efficient classification method to integrate the mask technique and the Expert Decision Tree model based on the wave spectrum characteristics of things. The key of this method depends on wave spectrum characteristics examinations. (2) The study results show that the structure of landscape types have changed obviously in the last 30 years. A great deal of natural wetlands has changed into manual wetland with the effect of human activities. The areas of natural wetland have mass-reduced from 109846.6hm~2 in 1976 to 34689.49 hm~2. The change trends of rivers and lakes are critical, which are important to the development of wetland landscape. The areas reduce by more than 67%. Telling from results of forecasting, the trends are more critical. In addition, the areas of rice paddy and bulrush landscape are growing, in which the area of rice paddy has increase 47052.46 hm2. (3)According to the dynamic analysis of landscape pattern, we found that the fragmental index of lake landscape is the largest, which reaches 0.061 in 2000.The results of fractal dimension show that all landscapes are affected strongly by the human activities. It is worthy to note the applicability and ecological signification of fractal dimension indices that we have chosen. Their calculation results are different for the same fractal thing with the different fractal dimension indices, which represent the disparate characteristics. The analysis of landscape heterogeneity shows that the diversity index decreased from 1.891 in1976 to 1.681 in 2000.The maximum value of dominance index turned into rice paddy landscape from indigenous beach landscape, which reaches 0.59. (4)In this paper, we interpreted the coastlines of the Northern Liaodong Bay in five periods including 1978, 1988, 1996, 2000 and the coastline since a century recently using multi-image remote data and correlative adjuvant data. It is a relative new outcome about the discovery of integral chenier. The calculate results based on the end point method show that the evolution of coastline in the northern Liaodong bay, especially in the estuary area, is complicated. The coastline accretion and erosion rate are differential in the different shoreline. The change of coastline of ShungTaiZi river is characteristic with accretion obviously. The quickest rate reaches 1300m/a. The coastline erosion in the east of DaLing river is related with sea level raised. Those entire evolution courses are affected by human activities, global sea-lever rise and regional subsidence together. (5)Through surveying and sampling in field and analyzing the characteristics of heteroptera Kitog landscape, we can conclude the changes of hetroptera Kitag related to people's activities. One hand, the people's activities that build up scampi pools, dam and oil well platform occupy the land in which heteroptera Kitog living. On...
